Seasonally rotating menu. Moderate prices, good variety, tasty dishes prepared with fresh locally sourced ingredients.
Great always love it here!
Great place to meet friends. Menu is always interesting with something for everyone.
The service and food, as always, was phenomenal. The staff never forget to ask if there is anyone that has allergies. The service and food are high quality. My friends and I met here fairly regularly for lunch. We have a lot to catch up on but never feel rushed. The prices are a little high, but within reason. We actually opted to have dessert this time, and they're perfect portions.
Our dinner was exceptional. Restaurant was very busy and everything is made fresh to order so we were there for a length of time from when we were seated to when we finished dessert and coffee. Our waitress was very attentive but gave us time to enjoy the company we were dining with. Looking forward to the summer menu too.
I have been to Harvest a few times before and I could clearly see that the quality of the food has gown down. I ordered the Teriyaki rice bowl with tofu. The rice was undercooked and soaked in oil, the snap peas were so tough that I had to spit out the fiber everytime I ate it, the tofu was burnt ....it was terrible. I have had the same dish before and it was not like this.
Food portions are small/ Still hungry when left/. Prices are high for what you get. Next to no sides included. We like weekday happy hour better.
Great atmosphere, great food and service. The only issue that I had was that I asked for the house Chardonnay and the server recommended a $10 Chardonnay which I agreed to try. She came back in a few minutes and told me that they were out of the $10 wine and said that I should try the $13 wine. I feel that they should have charged me $10 and not $13 being that I had 2 glasses. That would have been better business.
Too loud!!! Had to scream over the din to have a conversation. The food is wonderful but please have the ceilings insulated. It is always packed so I am sure you can afford this!!!
Andrea was an excellent server
Our server, Iyeah was the best. Very personable and her knowledge of the menu and the food was wonderful.
Our waitress Alicia made the experience even better than normal. Thank you Alicia!
A neighborhood gem
VERY busy restaurant so I expected the food to be better. My wife's noodle bowl was excellent, very tasty. I had the bone-in pork chop which unfortunately was overcooked and VERY dry. It was tough to get down and I only ate a portion of it. So some good and some bad. Would I try it again? I guess I might but there are other restaurants to try as well.
Our waiter (Devon) was amazing. She was so kind, sweet, and apologetic when we ordered the impossible burger from the menu but it was unavailable. Unfortunately, that was the main reason we went to Harvest. We then ordered the seitan tacos which were definitely lacking to say the least. Overall, the restaurant is beautiful and the bar is great. This was my first poor experience at Harvest.
This is second time we've been here and the first time we took others. Everyone loved their food. We are all picky, veganish, GF, eaters and the selections we're great. We will be back. The service was excellent, with the possible exception of the wait at times, which was never long and was understandable due to the busy, Friday-night crowd. We will come back again.
We came here when first opened and did not like it but decided to try again since it has been a while. We had the same experience as previous. The bartender ignored us for quite some time before even clearing the dirty dishes from the last patrons though not intensely busy, just chatting. The waiter was very attentive and professional- the only positive about the place. The food was mediocre and tiny portioned. More like a tapas servings at entree prices. The kitchen is pretty slow which I wouldn't mind but for the loudness of the place. We won't be trying a third time. It is very disappointing as it is very convenient to my home.
It was a very busy night when we went, there were a lot of servers but service really lacked attention. It was also very very cold in the restaurant. The food was good but not good enough to over look the high prices and
high noise level.
Good food noisy atmosphere
Front area is very cold with air-conditioning and loud back dining room is fine it was too many people get seated in it and the volume really turns out request a table in the bar outside is best
We loved this place! My only disappointment was the artificial sweetener on the table and no Stevia or organic sugar. Gordon came over and said he was sorry and that the delivery truck did not deliver these items this week. Other than that, my husband and I love the place. I would like to do lunch with my son on Wednesday. I really want him to try the Avocado sweet pea toast. He's gonna love it!
The meals are always fresh and flavorful. The service is excellent. Our favorite part is the mini desserts. They are the perfect way to end a meal and a reasonable price.
Food was fresh and delicious. Wine selection was broad with a lot of interesting choices. Unfortunately, service was very slow. Entree prices are a touch on the high side, which I wouldn’t have minded if service was timely and attentive (water glass was only refilled once in the hour we were there).
Would go again, but not if I had post-dinner plans.
All of our food was amazing - the wagyu steak, chicken lettuce wraps, the cucumber mint sangria. would highly recommend!
The service was outstanding -attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious. Our only complaints were how cold it was in the restaurant and the background music choices. But we will definitely return again - yum!
Birthday dinner. Everything was nice, server was very pleasant. A bit pricey for what you get but overall a nice place.
Delish as always! Just wish they had the impossible burger, but everything we had was great!
Took ten minutes before a waiter came to our table. And then half an hour to get our meals which were average at best. The waitress was good though she sent the manager over to apologize for the delays and he comped our meal which was nice. Don’t think we will go back
I invited a friend who had never dined at Harvest before to have lunch there, and she was delighted. A shout out here to Mike and (I think) Chris who were our attentive servers in the bar area, where we had a booth. My friend inquired about specific calorie values, and they readily brought a detailed list of all current menu items with their ingredients and calorie counts, which she was able to keep. We shared the Harvest flatbread with asiago cheese, then each enjoyed a large salad. As always, the lettuces and veggies were fresh, the texture-contrasts pleasing, the dressings light but flavorful. This restaurant is a really good place to dine when people have varied dietary concerns, because the menu offers vegan, GF, vegetarian, as well as fish and meat options.
Enjoyed lunch time outdoor seating withs friend! Food a drinks were delicious!
Pricy, but the food was delicious.
They burned my scallops...literally they were black and smelled like smoke. Cheap trick is flipping them over so the blacker side was face down, something you would expect in a diner. They brought me new ones that were also burned, i knew it wasn't going to get better so i ate the $27 Burned scallops.
My daughter had the Ramin which was way too salty and the waiter commented he was sorry he didn't tell us beforehand that is was salty...thanks for telling us after we paid $15 bucks to not eat it.
My husband had a burger on a giant bun...or was the burger so overcooked it shrunk, i dont know.
Overall very disappointing, you cannot compete with Seasons52.
Very bad service. Awful. Food took forever to come out. I opted to go to this restaurant because of a great prior experience.
I actually asked the manager to stop by the table because it took way too long to get apps and then get entrees. He comped the appetizers (which I didn’t ask for). Place was busy but waiting 45 minutes for each meal was ridiculous.
We ate dinner at the bar. The bartender was wonderful. Food was delicious. It is expensive but would definitely go again.
Excellent food. Our server knew the menu well and both recommendations were delicious! The portions were right sized. We will definitely be coming back.
The presentation of food was excellent. Our main issue is with the temperature of the food when served, everything was luke warm, otherwise tasty.
The food and the atmosphere is delicious. We had the tuna poke', flatbread, fish tacos and they were all freshly made and I liked how he asked if anyone had allergies. Also, we had some Sangria and the $12 for 3 glasses, one of each kind was a great deal :)
My only complaint was our waiter he was a little pushy, I was there with a friend and we were catching up and he was hovering a lot and then when the check came he kinda of stood there at first and we were like thank you, LOL, in my head, I was like walk away LOL. But on a good note he was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all the questions we had.
Great food and very good service!! Reservations recommended. Will be dining here again soon!!
This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. It is healthy and delicious! The noise level was a bit high for a romantic date, but its perfect for any other occasion.
Food and service were excellent. The location was noisy overall so this made talking a bit of an issue.
The food at Harvest is always excellent. We had a later reservation on Mother's Day for dinner (7:30) so the noise level was down which was a plus.
Harvest is definitely a special occasion place for Us as it is a $$$ place.
At the higher end for dining in Newtown its a coin flip between Harvest and Roccos.
