The owner went above and beyond to make the evening a great experience for the whole family. They even brought out Blocks and puzzles to entertain the children! Will be returning for sure.

I think I had the best meal I’ve ever had in San Francisco this evening. Literally everything was delicious and great portions. My kids ate everything. All four items on the kids menu were the best they ever had. Their words! That’s amazing. Service was perfect as well. Great drinks too. What can I say. Flawless dining experience.

Food 50/50, half was really poor, half was excellent. Service was really bad; waiter was nice but overwhelmed even with the restaurant mostly empty.

This is the epitome of the neighborhood restaurant in every way you wish: great food, a kind and consistent staff (including a chef who sometimes works the tables), well-suited for a date or a family outing, and reasonably priced. There’s also a massive bar that draws a lot of patrons (and for good reason, the drinks are terrific!), a cozy fireplace and a private, glass-walled room. The menu is stable with additions here and there and everything is ALWAYS tasty. Kudos to the dessert offering of warm chocolate chip cookies and milk! May Heritage succeed and be a neighborhood staple for years to come, it’s a gem!

We've been wanting to try this place for a while as we keep walking by it. We had a late dinner and it was very chill - the food and drinks were amazing and the chef/owner introduced himself to us. It's so wonderful to have a relaxed place like this we can walk to in the neighborhood. We had a lovely time and I look forward to going back again soon!
