Excellent food, service, and attention to detail. Celebrated a wedding anniversary and they left us a card on the table congratulating us, quite the wonderful touch.

It was a pleasure to dine at Hermon’s. Our server was excellent, as were all the other attendants. Great cocktails. We sampled a variety of dishes- tuna crudo was good, potato fritter was too rich for me, but probably well received by many. The zucchini burrata was very nice. Stack frites was very good. The ambiance is very pretty.

Our booth is comfortable and well designed. The drinks were solid but not the most memorable. But food and service are top notch. The vongole, the potato things, the lemon baked Alaska were all excellent. And everyone was kind and neighborly even though we had a baby. Not all L.A. establishments are that welcoming of kids!

Disappointing Experience for a Special Occasion We visited Hermon’s to celebrate my wife’s 36th birthday, hoping for an intimate and memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, the evening was a significant disappointment. While the hostesses were welcoming and accommodating with our booth request, the service that followed left much to be desired. Our server never introduced herself or welcomed us to the restaurant, and we actually had to ask for her name. The food was decent overall, but the ribeye was exceptionally fatty, and our entrées arrived five minutes apart rather than together. The biggest disappointment was the lack of attentiveness. After our food arrived, our server disappeared for 30 minutes. I wanted to order another drink, but no additional menu was left at the table or offered. By the time she finally returned, we had lost interest. Hermon’s came highly recommended through social media and Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card, which influenced my decision to choose it for this special occasion. For a nearly $500 dinner, we expected a much higher standard of hospitality, service, and food quality. Unfortunately, the experience did not justify the price point. A restaurant experience is about more than just the food; hospitality, attentiveness, and making guests feel welcome are equally important.
