About this restaurant

  • Neighborhood gem
  • Lively
  • Charming
From our HOM to your home. Our restaurant is a neighborhood gem designed to make you feel like you never left your house.
We are a family business and our intention is for everyone to feel like one big family under one roof. Our chef curates old southern Italian recipes into elegant dishes with his touch of north Italian flare. Our bread and pizzas are rustic and are rooted from the streets of Napoli. Whether its a cold beer, fine wine or craft cocktail our service and hospitality is dedicated to putting a smile on your face.
We are the family that started Da Pasquale in Beverly Hills and House of Meatballs in Westwood.
We love to have started this new adventure right in the heart of Woodland Hills.

What an hidden jam in the valley. Our server was great. The food tasted delicious and oh my gosh, the lava cake was top notch. I would definitely come back but not during busy hours as it is really loud.

It’s not the first time we visit this restaurant and I’ve never disappoint! Very close to our house and they’re very happy. We can come here anytime you feel a good Italian food in the neighborhood.

The food and service were great. Bruschetta, Caesar salad and eggplant Parmesan were delicious. For a Monday evening, surprisingly the restaurant was full. The challenge is that the noise factor is pretty loud. For two people dining we were challenged with the loudness from a close by birthday party, any more people than a party of two hearing could be difficult.

FAQs

Yes, HOM Italian Eatery is a warm, neighborhood spot that’s great for date night. Guests praise the intimate, cozy vibe, attentive service and house-made pastas, pizzas and desserts that feel special. Note it can get lively and noisy on weekend evenings; for a quieter date choose an early weekday seating or ask for a window/ patio table. Reservations are recommended to secure the best table.

Portions at HOM feel generous and satisfying, guests frequently mention hearty pastas, shareable starters (meatballs, bruschetta, calamari) and desserts that finish the meal. Many diners report getting leftovers from larger entrées, so sharing plates family-style is a good option if you want to try several dishes.

Yes, HOM is family-friendly and regularly hosts families, birthdays and celebrations (guests report highchairs and accommodating service). Accessibility specifics aren’t consistently mentioned in guest feedback, so if you need wheelchair access or other accommodations, call ahead and the team will help arrange seating.

HOM offers indoor dining, a full bar area and an outdoor front patio (with heaters mentioned by guests). The restaurant also hosts private parties, call ahead to inquire about reserving space for larger groups or special events.

HOM feels warm, lively and welcoming, a family-run, neighborhood Italian with rustic touches. Guests praise the friendly staff, owners who mingle with diners, and a cozy, homey decor. Expect an energetic dining room that can be noisy when full; the patio and earlier seatings are calmer.

Yes, guests report the staff are accommodating (examples include bringing a highchair, removing a cork from wine and decanting, accommodating large tables). For dietary needs, seating requests, or private-party details, call ahead so the team can prepare and ensure a smooth visit.

Yes, families dine here often and guests frequently celebrate birthdays and family meals at HOM. The restaurant has accommodated highchairs and family-style sharing; there isn’t a dedicated kids’ menu commonly mentioned, so for younger children consider an earlier seating and call ahead about menu flexibility.

There’s no explicit public waiting-list policy noted, but guests report HOM fills up quickly, reservations are strongly recommended. During peak dinner hours staff sometimes manage seating tightly and guests have reported occasional requests to vacate when another party is scheduled, so call ahead if you’re concerned about timing.

HOM is busiest on weekend evenings (Fri–Sat) and peak dinner times when the room is lively and can get loud. The quietest times are early weekday dinners (Mon–Thu) or the earliest seatings; patio or bar seating can also feel calmer than the main dining room during peak hours.

For a balance of atmosphere and lower noise, choose a weekday (Mon–Thu) evening, you’ll still get excellent food and service with fewer crowds. If you want a lively scene and don’t mind noise, Friday or Saturday nights deliver the busiest, most energetic experience.

Yes, the restaurant indicates it allows private parties and many guests celebrate birthdays and special occasions there. Contact HOM directly to discuss group size, menu options and any special seating or timing requests for private events.

Guests have dined at HOM on holidays (several reviews mention Christmas Eve), so the restaurant does open for select holidays. Holiday hours can vary, call ahead or check with the restaurant to confirm service and book a reservation for holiday evenings.

Yes, guests mention an outdoor front patio (with heaters on cool nights) that many choose to avoid the indoor noise. Patio seating is a popular option for a calmer meal; call ahead to request patio seating when you make your reservation.
