At Home Block Restaurant, we embrace the bounty of the Okanagan while our name pays homage to the Home Block Vineyard which surrounds us. Our building is crafted from fieldstone and 100-year-old reclaimed barn wood and our cuisine draws on those elemental roots. We integrate natural cooking methods like our wood-fired grill fueled by timber from local orchards and seasoned barrel staves. The result is honest, confident, and approachable food that unites flawlessly with CedarCreek wine.

Sourced - 3 Course Wine-Paired Experience Join us for a food and wine experience at CedarCreek Estate Winery, inspired by both our organically farmed estate-grown vineyards and by the beautiful natural elements that surround us. Enjoy 3 courses created by Executive Chef Neil Taylor for $95 wine-paired with 2 of our hand-selected wines (4oz pairings). **Please advise of any dietary restrictions or allergies in advance** For those wishing to dine without partaking in the wine, the cost is $74 for the food only.
5 Course Platinum Library Experience
Multiple dates available
An immersive 5-course wine-paired experience built around our Platinum Collection of wines. This experience highlights some of the best wines produced at CedarCreek, thoughtfully paired with a locally-inspired, chef-curated menu and includes rare library-wine vintages for $185 per person. We do require all allergy information of the group at least 24 hours before your reservation. Our Chef's use these dietaries to create a single set-menu for the whole table. Guest's choosing not to partake in the wine portion of the experience will be charged $120 for the food only. All payments due at the restaurant upon completion of the experience. We look forward to hosting you!

Appetizer of shrimp very good but salmon main not good. Vegetables were blended into a tasteless goo, not good at all!!! Disappointing as I have had much better meals here. Will not be rushing back for any events in the future. Sadly it was my son’s birthday and his steak was not much better. We had a much better birthday dinner at home prepared by his wife.

The staff, as always, are on their game. Professional and genuine, this kind of enthusiasm can’t be faked. The door was as creative and satisfying as ever. If it’s hard to choose a dish among the excellent options, at least we know we can’t go wrong.

For the past few years, we have made an annual pilgrimage to Kelowna in later summer. A key part of our planning once we decide on our dates is - booking a return visit to Home Block. We aim to be there to watch the sunset while enjoying the fine food and wine. Yet again, the food was amazing. The beet salad and crispy squid were great starters. We went with two different pasta dishes for mains and the sticky toffee pudding and creme brûlée for dessert. The wine pairings were a perfect complement to the mains. The care taken to control the lighting and heat as the evening progressed was impressive. The service was timely, yet not rushed. The smell from the wood burning oven combined with the fire pit provided a perfect ambiance. Knocked it out of the park again. Look forward to seeing you again next year.

Such a beautiful restaurant located in a stunning setting. I’ve enjoyed many meals here but continue to feel that the wine list is grossly inflated considering they are also the winemakers. 2020 bottles of Malbec for $175, produced onsite. This wine was too young to be opened and turned me off the idea of ordering another bottle, or taking anything home with me. We shouldn’t be subsidizing these beautiful wineries when they are most obviously profitable on all ends.

Thank you for the feedback Craig. To put things into context, as a licensed restaurant, to follow in line with BC liquor laws, I unfortunately can not purchase my wine from the winery itself. Instead, the winery must sell the wine to BCLDB and I must purchase it back at full price. The Malbec retailed for $90 a bottle when it was being sold. Only 8 barrels were produced and we did not do a single varietal of Malbec since 09 and only did one in 2020. We purchased that when it was released and it quickly sold out at the winery as well. We have been cellaring that wine for 4 years with the intent to sell it now that is has some age. I apologise that you felt it is overpriced and not ready to release, we appreciate the feedback and hope you do try us again.
