I was very disappointed in my second visit to this restaurant. This is just a few of my complaints. The wait staff leaned their behinds on the dining tables when taking orders and were constantly on their phones. I could see into the kitchen, those in the kitchen coughed into their hands but did not wash their hands after; were frequently eating food (as were the waitstaff). The waiter told me I could not drink the flat water because the guy who was supposed to come to filter the water had not come for two days and the women’s bathroom was out of order. As for the food - the oysters we ordered had shells in them, the mussels were sandy, and the herbed chicken salad had very little chicken in it. Very disappointing.

My family and I had the best time. We had a party of six and our server was friendly, prompt, and helpful. The food was lovely. We had the deviled eggs, spinach dip, and hamburgers. It was a great stop following a hockey game and we will definitely be back!

Food is always good! You offer a brunch menu, meaning breakfast and lunch, you shouldn't charge for coffee refills.

The pesto rigatoni and apps we ordered including the deviled eggs were delicious the steak was a little chewy but the flavor was great. Will definitely be back

I came to this restaurant specifically for the caviar, which was on the menu online, and the printed menu at the restaurant. Once arrived and ordered, I was told the chef did not order because of the cost. This was very disappointing since I came for that very dish. Why not take it off the menu, at least online, that is the simplest and cost effective way to ensure up to date menu.

They are having logistical trouble with service. Don't seem to be able to handle the increase in patrons before a UBS event. The tap water still seems musty and stale as it did during an earlier visit.

Unfortunately, The quality of food and service was no as good as I was expecting on our first visit here. Martinis had a bad taste. Order a dry Vodka Martini with olives, not dirty. Basic drink! Could not taste the Vodka, and the drink had a bad after taste. We order some basic food. Mussel appetizer was properly the best out of the whole meal. The grill cheese was not good dry and not cheesy, and the tomato soup tasted more like a cream sauce. Hamburger was over cooked and on the burnt side. We kept getting apology for slow service and the waiting. Soup was served without a spoon and I had to wait before one was brought to me. Menus stated mussels were served with a side of sourdough and arrived with none. We had to ask an wait for the sour dough, and ate most of the mussels before they arrived.

Food was good but it took about half an hour for our drinks to come. In fact, they came after our meal arrived. And we were sitting 10 feet from the bar. Inexplicable. Overall this is a good choice before an Islanders’ game if you want to avoid over-priced arena food and have a sit-down meal. But the service needs to improve.
