Beautiful setting for great food. Ate on the patio the temperature was perfect and they had live light dinner music. Our service was top notch and they had live food was delicious. My wife had the salmon and tuna poke bowl. Was a great portion and the tuna and salmon tasted fresh. I had the cheeseburger. The burger was amazing. It was like a double double with better ingredients. The setting was awesome outside with the backdrop of the mountains in front of you. A little on the pricey side but well worth it, highly recommend Ignite and will definitely be back

This is the 3rd time me and my husband stayed at The Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain and love the atmosphere etc... there. Unfortunately this time the service wasn't as good as the 1st and 2nd time there, and although the sushi pieces were outstanding, the roll was disappointing. We had the "Ignite" signature Maki Sushi for $32 it was good, but nothing more than a regular looking roll as far as size. In our past visits the rolls were all much larger and a much better looking presentation... this was far from a "signature roll". I think part of the reason for the service not being the same as past times we've been there was because it was Spring Break so it was a lot busier than our past visits which were earlier in March and Feb., but I would have expected a place like this to be prepared a little better knowing that it gets busier this time of year.

Have been to Ignite numerous times because the sushi is good. However, the service is below average and not what you’d expect from a high end facility like the Ritz. The fact that you have to pay $10 for parking, not including tip to the valet is aggravating. As good as the sushi is, we won’t be going back and will find another sushi restaurant when we have the desire for fresh fish.

We are local and went for the weekend sushi. Not our first time- but this was the first time we were asked which restaurant we were going to, first time we were asked for a credit card when we said we were not staying at the hotel, the first time our server got our order wrong, and the first time we had to ask for chopsticks and soy sauce with the sushi. We also asked for more water and never received it. Not the experience we’ve come to expect from the RC. The food and drinks were still great- except the flan, which was dry and just ok.

The service and ambience were wonderful. The menu needs to be reworked. The sushi was fair. I would have liked to have seen some bold dishes that were unique to the area.

FAQs

Yes, Ignite Lounge Bar is a fantastic pick for date night. Guests frequently praise the romantic outdoor patio with heaters, fire pits and mountain sunset views, plus live flute and guitar music that add a special touch. Expect creative cocktails, an elevated menu (notably excellent sushi) and a relaxed, casual-dress vibe. For the best experience, request a front patio table at sunset and consider an early reservation to secure the view.

Portions vary by dish. Guests often describe sushi as well-presented but sometimes smaller or more modest than in past visits, while shareables and mains (gochujang wings, Sonoran Hotdog, Ignite Burger, Fish & Chips) are regularly called generous. If you’re dining for sushi specifically, expect tasting-style portions; for a heartier meal, order an entrée or a shareable to split.

Family-friendly: yes, guests often bring families and celebrate birthdays here. You may see teens and children dining, though the vibe leans toward adult lounge/dining. Accessibility details aren’t listed in the provided information, so call ahead if you need specific accessible seating or accommodations.

Go for sushi nights (Thu–Sat) if you want the best sushi selection. For sunset views and live flute/guitar music, arrive around 5:00–6:00 pm to get a front patio table. If you prefer a quieter visit, choose weekday lunch or an early weekday dinner rather than weekend evenings or peak holiday periods like Spring Break.

Warm, scenic and relaxed, Ignite is repeatedly described as inviting and atmospheric, with gorgeous Tortolita Mountain views, fire pits, live Native American flute and guitar music, and an upscale-casual lounge feel. Guests use words like romantic, relaxing and perfect for special occasions; service quality varies by visit, but the setting is consistently praised.

Casual dress. The restaurant-provided information lists the dress code as casual, and guests typically describe a relaxed yet polished atmosphere suitable for date nights and special occasions.

Yes, guests report staff accommodating requests like heaters/blankets and patio seating when asked. While there’s no formal list of pre-arrival services, it’s best to call the restaurant in advance to request specific seating, accessibility needs or celebratory touches so the team can prepare.

Busiest: weekend evenings and sushi nights (Thu–Sat), and peak seasonal times like Spring Break, guests note heavier crowds then. Quietest: weekday lunch and earlier weekday dinners tend to be calmer. If you want a prime patio spot at sunset, arrive early or reserve ahead.

Thursday–Saturday are the best days if you’re going specifically for sushi (sushi menu is available Thu–Sat). For a quieter visit with the same ambiance, choose a weekday (especially lunch or an early dinner).

Outdoor patio appears pet-friendly, guests have reported dining with a small dog on the patio and being offered heaters/blankets. The policy on service animals or emotional support animals isn’t specified in the provided information, so call ahead to confirm any special needs or patio rules.
