Wife and I had nice time here. Food was good but price seemed very high for what it is. Server was polite and helpful with food and wine pairings.
It was a good experience but feel not strong sentiment for coming back.
Great food! Exceptional service!
So disappointed. Wife and I decided to go out for a real nice dinner for a change. I knew it was going to be expensive but expected exceptional food and service. Service was better than the food but not great. I had prime ribeye and wife had halibut special. Steak was not as good as places like Roadhouse or longhorn but cost 3x as much. Every steak I have ever cook for myself is better than this "prime" ribeye. The Halibut was ok but Papadeaux's is 3x better and half the price. Onion Ring appetizer so bad, couldn't eat more than one bite. I told waiter and he said sorry and took them away. No visit from manager or taken off the bill. I wish I would have taken the $240 that I spent on this meal and given $20 to 12 people I saw downtown that evening that needed money for food or booze.
Everything was awesome! The steak was so juicy and perfectly cooked. The braised beef was comfort food at its finest and the potatoes were wonderfully cheesy. There is valet service for only $10 which is not mentioned on the site so don't park 5 blocks away like I unfortunately did. But it was worth the pain in heels. I will definitely return to explore the menu.
Our group had nine business associates. Food was outstanding but service, while excellent, was slow. Overall, we had a great dining experience.
Went there for our 20th wedding anniversary and had a great time.
I've been to the Dallas III Forks and I must say I was very disappointed with the overall taste of the food. It seemed rushed. Our lobster mac and cheese was burnt or overcooked. It was stuck to the bowl. Our steaks looked like they had been sitting out and someone just reheated them.
It was the first time for my mom and sister and they were happy. But I knew better. I would definitely not come back to the III Forks in Austin. I told my sister we're doing a redo, in Dallas.
We’ve been there before, but this time we got very disappointed with the food. Steak was awful and ravioli not as expected.
Service was excellent and we didn’t need to pay for the steak. They offered us a replacement for the plate we didn’t liked. Coffee and dessert was good.
We celebrated our daughter's college graduation here...it was wonderful!
People, this place is wonderful! We had an incredible steak and the crew at III Forks made the experience incredibly memorable! I mean I got to choose the knife I would use to cut my steak. I grabbed the one the most resembled a Samurai Sword!
It's a beautiful place and my server was nice, though medium at her job. I wasn't thrilled to be seated at the back of the bar when the restaurant was half empty, but it was mother's day brunch, so maybe that had something to do with it. The problem was with the food. My medium rare filet was grey throughout and came out cold...to the point that the grease was coagulating. Very disappointing from a steak house....particularly given the premium pricing. On top of that, my son's steak, which inexplicably included a slice of cheese on top, also included the paper packaging used to separate the cheese slices which he almost ate. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it since it was mother's day, but the manager's offer of a free dessert we didn't want did little to make me happy. In all it was a marginal meal in a beautiful restaurant we couldn't see from the corner of the bar, but definitely not worth the $300 price tag for four of us. There are much better steak house options in town, and I'll stick to them in the future.
I had my best steak there yet. The Wagyu Rib Eye was phenomenal. Try the bread pudding too!
I have sampled good quality steaks in many cities but the filet I ordered was cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding and personal, not pushy. My wife and I loved the vibrant ambiance and the live music was an excellent touch. I would eat here again and have recommended it to frinds and family.
Great service and food. Live music but loud.
A great way to celebrate my daughter's graduation from Southwestern University. The food and service were excellent!
Outstanding food and service. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit whenever I’m in Austin.
Excellent ambience and great for fond memories this is the go to place for a night of elegance.
Excellent! On par with some of the better steakhouses in New York. Good, attentive service.
They seemed a bit understaffed. Was fine other than that.
The food was exquisite and the service was impeccable. Would definitely recommend III Forks for a great evening out.
The wagyu bone-in ribeye was perfectly cooked and served with a little fireworks - some 101 proof bourbon soaked sea salt is lit on the side of the wooden plank holding the steak, and when the flame goes out you have the option of using it for seasoning though the steak doesn't really need it.
Bar staff has very good recommendations for wine by the glass and cocktail ingredients, so there is an advantage to eating at the bar; full menu is available there too!
Amazing food and great service!
Service was excellent food was really good, steak was pretty good not great, we’ve had better but it wasn’t bad just not what we expected!
John gave us great service and a great wine recommendation. I respected the fact that he stayed in our price range and didn't try to upsell us. I appreciate that. He even replaced my mom's drink after she accidently spilled it. Food was excellent. Great night.
Amazing from start to finish. From the service to the menu to the atmosphere just a wonderful experience.
Outstanding service and excellent food. This is a very special place that'd be great for a special celebration. Some of the dishes are pricey but it's good to treat yourself once a while...
The prices were good, considering and each course was great! The service was impeccable and we'd definitely go back. The drinks were stiff too!
Tremendous service from Neville; absolutely spectacular meal.
Had an anniversary meal here on a Friday evening. Buzz was high with several larger groups in the area. Service was attentive and well paced. Steak were done as ordered and very tender.
Sides were unremarkable. Good martinis and nice wines.
Attentive staff. Very dark decor
We had a rib eye and pork chop that were very good
But NOT worth the price tag.
It seemed the staff pushed the “crowns and butters”
As add Ins that puffed up he bill
I don’t mind paying top dollar for top
Quality but this is not too quality for the price.
Amazing food. Great service. Must try their "VIP Juice" for dessert. It was delicious!
It's expensive but very high quality. Service was top notch. Highly recommend.
Fantastic dinner, excellent service and a band that really made the whole evening special.
Great food and even better service!!
Always so happy to go back...
Fantastic service and delicious meal. Best of the best experience
I love this place! Classic old steak house feel with a modern tale on the food. You have to have the King’s butter!
She loves it!
Food and service were excellent and reasonably priced. There were steaks which were over priced, but other items which were reasonable. Wine prices were reasonable.. Three Forks called the next day to see if we enjoyed the meal.. That’s a first!.
