It was Father’s Day so of course they were busy. That said, you could tell the food was sitting out for a while. All of us had lukewarm meals. Never got drink refills and food took over an hour to arrive. I empathize with how difficult it is to be understaffed but perhaps they should consider a smaller menu or seating fewer tables if they can’t keep up. Will not be going back.

We had a lovely impromptu dinner. My husband and i both had the ravioli, which was delicious and a vegetable side dish, spinach and braised escarole. The spinach was very good and the escarole less so. We finished our meal with espresso and affigato, which was marvelous. All in all, an excellent meal.

I was disappointed by the predictability of the salads. Nothing inspired in the arugula salad with a few shavings of parm and some prosciutto. Decent, but not exciting. Biggest negatives in outdoor dining were the noise from the parking lot (at the entrance of Legacy Place) and too few umbrellas to provide shade. Service was good.

My friends and I loved our Sunday brunch at Dedham Legacy Place. My pancakes were (again!) perfect! Same with my friends brioche French toasts...and the affogato!! Our server was attentive and pleasant! The place was busy but not nosy, we were able to carry our conversation n couldn't here other tables'! Perfect in every way possible!!

The staff was very pleasant and somewhat attentive. My friend order oysters which were very tiny. At $3 a piece, they were over priced. The main course portions were reasonable but the taste was only mediocre. We had fusilli and squid ink pasta with lobster and mushrooms. Neither dish was very tasty leaving us substantially disappointed.

Fantastic. Wait and wine staff were superb. They knew their food/wine and were able to describe to us what they liked and a little about the chef and the way the restaurant is expertly run. Sitting outside was grand but the ongoing swoosh of cars going by was marred only by a car alarm or two going off periodically. Still, outside is brighter and more 'European.' We will be back!

We have been there several times and have always enjoyed everything. This time , both my young adult sons complained that the meatballs weren’t very good. (Not the first time we have ordered them….just not up to the standard of prior visits.). However the rest of our meals were yummy. They do make delicious risotto, something I usually stay away from in restaurants. The service was fine/standard. The reason for the 3 stars on ambiance is there were 4 of us in a smaller booth and we felt a bit swished. I did request a booth but was thinking of the larger booths. The other reason is the restaurant was unbearably hot (it was over a hot weekend.). They said the ac was on full blast but was escaping out the door. We were all dressed casually in shorts and were very uncomfortable. I know this isn’t necessarily their fault but it had an impact on our overall experience this particular evening.
