   I made brunch reservations for my husband's 39th birthday, and was a little nervous since he's an autoimmune patient and transplant survivor who is at very high risk of complications if he contracts Covid-19. Because of this, we haven't been able to go out to eat at a restaurant or bar since the beginning of the pandemic over 2 years ago! But since it was his last birthday in his 30's, and seeing Iron Bridge's outdoor seating, we thought it might be safe to eat outdoors given the airflow through the tent and the spacing of the tables. I told my husband that when we got there, if it felt too risky we could just order our food to go and eat at home, but I'm so pleased to say that everything was just perfect when we arrived! I made reservations on Open Table and explained our situation in the requests section, and the manager seated us in a table in the corner of the tent, far away from other patrons. Everything from the service to the food, to the general vibe was just excellent! We had a few brunch cocktails with a charcuterie board and the masa fried green tomatoes to start, and they were all simply delicious. The spring negroni was so good I nearly ordered one for myself after tasting my husband's. For our main dishes, we had the smoke salmon benedict and the bourbon apple French toast-- which was probably the best French toast dish I've ever had in my life. We were stuffed but we managed to make it through the deliciously light chocolate dessert that they brought out for my husband's birthday (it was either a soufflé or the airiest, most cloud-like chocolate dream of a cake I've seen), and a few glasses of bubbly before rolling ourselves out to the car. Instead of feeling apprehensive about our first time eating out together in years, we felt safe and totally thrilled with the wonderful experience. Thanks so much for a fantastic celebratory birthday brunch, Iron Bridge! Barring any more Covid-19 surges this summer, we will definitely be back again soon.

   So sad that this was a less than stellar experience. My BFF took me for my birthday today. Last 2 times I have been there, had great meals and the best quiche I've ever eaten. Today fell drastically short. I think the quiche was made elsewhere, like a wholesale food distributor because it just could not have been theirs. Corn quiche; that concept should have been enough to stop me, but the last 2 quiches were so phenomenal, that I just decided to go with it. Tasteless and the bottom of the crust seemed not quite cooked. My friend had the BBQ chicken grilled cheese and she said it was a "wet mess." Fries unimpressive. Brussels sprout appetizer was nice. Wine nice. Servers nice. Food so disappointing. It will be a long while before I go back. Another thing that should have swayed me was when I got a call earlier in the week questioning my reservation of outside seating. The person who called asked if it was a mistake and I said, "Are you asking because it's supposed to rain?" She said, "Well, you'll be the only table out there (we were not) and so thought it would be easier on our server if you were inside!!!!" WHAT? For real? THAT was horrible customer service and I said to her, "Well, maybe I should cancel?" This is when she backpedaled. The entire experience was so disappointing and I hate saying that about this place however based on this, I would probably be hard pressed to return.

   Not quite as good this time as the prior couple of times we visited. Burgers were ordered medium well, but came out well done and a bit on the dry side. We will definitely try again though. Perhaps the chef had the day off when we visited. Also, the outdoor tents are a great place to dine, but there is a definite odor of propane exhaust so possibly not the healthiest environment. Wonder if they could try moving the exhaust ports further away from the tent walls.

   Such a gem that is a bit off the beaten path. Wonderful food, nice wine options, cozy feel, and friendly and efficient service. Highly recommend coming here if you're in the area.

    We had a wonderful dinner for my Mother's 85th birthday. The staff signed a card for my Mother which she has on her mantle as we speak. Matt B was a wonderful server and knows his job well. The food was excellent and the deserts were OUTSTANDING. I would certainly recommend this establishment.

    Our first time. The staff does a great job ( very attentive ) Food is good, however the vegetables need to be cooked longer. We were seated on the Bar side. We made reservations well in advance. I would have thought we would be seated in the Dining room. The noise level was very annoying and the room temperature was very warm . I was not aware that there were options for a dining room or the bar.

    Always very attentive staff and delicious food and wine. The shrimp scampi starter was particularly delicious! I ordered the duck breast and my fiance ordered the scallops which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The creme brulee with chocolate is a must have for dessert. The waitress was very kind to bring us a complimentary dessert wine to help us celebrate our engagement. Highly recommended place, especially to celebrate a special occasion.

    Good food, good wine, attentive and exceptional service. It was a very nice dinner experience, we weren't hurried to order or rushed to eat. Our waitress (Molly) was excellent. Start with some wine and a cheese tray and skip the appetizer, we picked four cheeses to sample, only one of the four wasn't so good: an aged gouda which was tasty enough but was only bad because it was as hard as a rock, couldn't cut the sample easily and I worried I might crack a tooth or two when biting it, but fortunately that didn't happen. That was our only complaint...well, maybe just one more: after the wine and the cheese tray and the entree, we had no room for dessert and coffee. Also, it was a little too dark in the restaurant, so reading the wine list, cheese list, and menu was a little difficult in the very dim lighting. My friend and I are in our 60's and don't see as well as we did 10 years ago so we had to use our mobile phone flashlights to read 'em. But the dim lighting was really only a problem for reading, other than that it wasn't bothersome at all. We will go again, but won't eat anything for the whole day before we go so that we have room for dessert.

    It was disappointing. Nice place, nice people, but the wine and food were both bland. The cheese plate was underwhelming, the wines lacked structure and complexity, and the food missed the mark. Nothing was horrible, nothing was great.

    Long wait time once order was put in. Brunch was so-so. We had better experience with their lunch dishes. Drinks were delish!! Worth another try, maybe they just had a bad day.

    Every dish and each of the wines in the wine flight were excellent. Waiter Kevin was terrific. We ate outside in a plastic-sided tent set up in a portion of the parking lot — nice to be able to do that, though it felt rather shut-in and not taking advantage of the rural beauty of the area — maybe some potted plants would help. Overall, an excellent experience and look forward to coming back.

    We were celebrating our daughter's 15th wedding anniversary. The service was excellent and because it was a special occasion we got some champagne and some goodies for dessert. Food was excellent. The restaurant is a bit pricy so this is not your typical "I don't feel like cooking let's eat out" restaurant. It is more for special occasions.

    Had a great experience dining at The IBWC! Nikki was our waitress and she was very, nice and pleasant. Dining here for Easter Brunch was an absolutely delight! Looking forward to returning for dinner. We dined outside and I was about impressed with the heated tent and the accommodations.

    I come here for lunch periodically because my grandmother likes this place, but for the past few years every experience has been mediocre at best. Our most recent visit was truly awful. First off, it took forever to order. I kept trying to catch the waiter’s eye but he would consistently avoid us. I got the mussels for an appetizer - arrived lukewarm and several were closed. Tried one and it was bad. I often order mussels at restaurants and also cook them at home. These were old and fishy. After several more minutes of trying to catch the waiter’s attention I asked him if I could just have soup instead. He brought out the soup quickly, black eyed pea and lentil. Extremely bland but edible. At this point I was really hungry. Next, we sat, and sat, and sat. We must have waited an hour between our appetizers and entrees. When my omelette arrived it was barely warm (of course). I was feeling optimistic because it was not overcooked but then I got a bite with chorizo in it. So,so salty. Inedibly salty. The fruit that came with the omelette was old and mushy. At this point I just wanted to get out of there . Don’t come here for lunch people.

    The restaurant was very accommodating when we had to change our reservation last minute. We were sat outside in one of the tents. Since it was a bit chilly that night the restaurant did honor our request to put the heat on. Our experience was going well the first 20-30 minutes then a very boisterous party of six was sat in our area. The noise level was so bad that many of the other patrons either left or was seated somewhere else. The noise was so overwhelming and overstimulating that we, my family, cut our dining experience short and paid and left. However, before I left I expressed my disdain and concern to our server. I’m surprised that management did not ask for the party to lower their voices as it was affecting the dining experience of others. Unfortunate and sad since the food and drink was quite delightful.
