Always a great meal. Cocktails are amazing...try the Paloma. Little loud but it was a Saturday night and very crowded with beautiful people. Tacos are awesome!
As always, an excellent dining experience. Currently Oak Lawn's top all round restaurant
Perfect in every way. Excellent customer service, ambiance, and food.
Food was great! Love the seating area known as the treehouse. I would dine early for shorter wait times and good seating.
I wouldn’t recommend the steak- very salty.
Great location, very loud environment, and found the prices to be too high for the quality and amount of food served . The service was outstanding. the appetizers were not a share able amount for two people. The main entries don't come with sides and is served alacart. Again, amount and the quality is lacking.
What an absolutely fantastic restaurant! One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.
Carolina is exceptional!! Knowledgeable, cares about the restaurant. We thought she was one of the owners the way she represented Jalisco!
Service was terrible.
We enjoyed our meal immensely and had a fine time reuniting with old friends. The food and wait staff were excellent and provided us with a lovely evening.
There was a hair in the queso. It was long and dark and I was too disgusted to eat the meal. Embarrassing with out of town guests.
Simply the best.
My wife and I went the evening of May 26th. If you’re not a native to Dallas...make sure you turn into the walking mall and head to the back near Tom Thumb. You can’t really see it from the street.
Anyway, very good food in an upscale but completely unpretentious atmosphere which can be hard to find in that neighborhood. Service was 5 out 5. Outstanding. Everyone is happy and friendly here.
Drinks are great too. I had the carne asada: very tasty, nice cut of meat, and well-presented. Sauce on the side w/it set it off perfectly. My wife had the chicken enchiladas. We also had quesa fundido w/chorizo. This is REAL chorizo and really good.
Salsas and sauces are delicioso! We will be back and is highly recommended.
Jorge was just amazing explaining every single dish
This restaurant is one of the best I have ever been and this rate comes from a Hispanic Mexican Person
Phenomenal Service, food, atmosphere... AMAZING! We are coming back from Houston simply to try more food and drink options ASAP!
Very nice typical Mexican restaurant with great atmosphere.
I always have a great experience at Jalisco Norte. Highly recommend!
An excellent restaurant in every way. Impeccabble, knowlegable service. Warm and festive atmosphere. Excellent food. Fresh, authentic, beautifully presented - everything tasted perfect. I am very picky about restaurants and have eaten around the world. Jalisco is worth the visit. A must if you are in Dallas. Great for 2 up to large groups.
I would recommend, but would caution on what to order.
I had the halibut and the quality of the food was not up to the standard I have experienced there before. Seemed very over-cooked.
Food was SO good! Our waiter was very friendly & got us free shots :)
Best halibut ever- and I really don't like fish that much. Nice and flaky and not fishy in the least, with delicious marinade of pineapple. ,
I’ve gone to Jalisco almost a dozen times! I invite my friends and family as it’s my favorite restaurant in Dallas, TX and I’ve been to many! The service is great, food is delicious, and atmosphere suits almost occasions. Five starts doesn’t do this place justice!
Food was average, guacamole was really good, but the chicken tacos...the fried chicken tasted like it was a frozen chicken nugget on a tortilla. Our server went on and on about menu items and took WAY too long explaining them. I forgot her name but it was pretty annoying and awkward.
Mother's Day dinner. Food was superb, great flavors and lots of options at many price levels. Dessert was over the top. Ambiance is good, staff clearly paid attention to the guests. Near end of meal, couple with quiet young child were seated nearby. Child suddenly became very loud (it's happened to all of us). As couple struggled, staff left empty tables around them seating newer guests further away to make best of situation. They also stopped by to see if they could offer the parents anything to help. I was appreciative of their efforts even though we were about to leave.
Love this restaurant! The food is amazing and the ambience wonderful! Love the staff!
The food was so delicious, it is by far my favorite brunch in Dallas. I always love the ambiance!
Authentic Mexican food that doesn't disappoint! Exceptional quality food with the freshest ingredients. Love their hand made tortillas. This restaurant reminds me of my grandmother's home cooking.
This time we went for mother’s day, but we have been on multiple occasions and have always had a wonderful experience. The waitstaff is very helpful, and the chef is always willing accommodate for dietary restrictions. My mom and I have celiacs (gluten free) and my sister is vegan, and we’ve always left feeling full and satisfied. As for drinks, the Rita Champ is top notch!
Worst meal ever. I was not informed about limited menu. I came here because my daughter is vegan and has eaten her before with some options to eat. No accommodations to help her. I was forced to order a meal for two so I could accommodate my wife. Catus salad was not delivered with either meal. That says is included. I returned the quest that was like water and second batch was just as bad. I didn't think it is possible to make bad quest. Never ever will I go to this place again
Our server was not very attentive. He seemed to forget we were in the corner booth. I would like a different server next time
Least spicy Mexican food ever
We had an amazing dinner that meet or every expectation! This is a must go!
Food is delicious here, and wonderful location. Love the patio as well.
Find the best seafood here! Usually get the Bronzino, but got salmon this time. Had wonderful sauce on it. I can always count on a great meal at Jalisco Norte with friendly, great service.
We were there Cinco de Mayo, so of course it was festive... and lots of fun.
We had a lot of fun at our Cinco de Mayo brunch at Jalisco Norte. Great food and entertainment- weren’t expecting Mariachis!
I really wanted to like this place but the food just was not good. Me and my friend got tacos and they had nooo flavor. The most bland food I’ve eaten in a while. Service was okay. Cinco de mayo “specials” that they advertised were the same price as any regular day.
Went for brunch on Cinco de Mayo for the atmosphere. Service was outstanding. The drinks (we tried three different cocktails) had an off flavor, but the michelada was great. The food was serviceable but not memorable and not worth the price.
The last activity for my best friend’s “final fiesta” over Cinco de Mayo weekend was brunch at Jalisco Norte. We arrived to the restaurant (on Cinco de Mayo) and were greeted by the friendly staff and festive decor. The ambience alone was worth the visit! Our waiter took the time to explain the history behind the day, as well as about the food they serve. I can’t believe how fresh everything tasted! We left feeling full, but not overly full as is most always the case when leaving a Mexican/Tex-Mex establishment, and were all raving we would like to come back for dinner. Unfortunately, I do not live in the area and was in town visiting, so I do not know when I’ll get to return to this restaurant. But, should I find myself in Dallas again, this spot is on my list!! Would also be a cute spot for a date night.
