Loved the crab legs. The waitress was ver friendly and helpful. We made reservations so we did not have to wait long.
Our waiter was the best. He was friendly and very helpful.
The owner came out to say hi and see if everything was ok; which of course it was The food is fabulous here and the staff is so friendly
Great job
Thanks
Lorin
Made online reservations with notice of a pet with us and we were told it would be an additional 45 minutes wait because of the pet not being noted which I showed the host it was noted
We didn’t have time to wait additional 45 minutes so we went elsewhere
Our server was Eduardo, and he was super polite. Very grateful for the staff that returned to work. Our margaritas were weak, could barely taste the tequila, but everything else was awesome. Thank you to all the Joe's staff for working during this time.
Great service and food
Staff was wonderful and crabs where to die for!!! Can't wait to go back!
Birthday celebration
Our food was cold and we ended up getting really sick after. I went to my doctors and they told me, I had food poising. I know it was from there because we had gone fishing and it was the only thing, I had ate all day. Sadly, it sucks because I love Joe’s :(
We arrived at the restaurant and were told that they were not honoring Open Table reservations and that it would be an hour. They took our number and never called that a table was available.
The catfish was just ok. Kind of “fishy” wouldn’t order again. My niece and her friend enjoyed the crab legs. Service was good and drinks were also good.
Took 25 mins to place our order
Service was TOP NOTCH. Barely waited at all, just the time it took for us to reach the front desk. Food was amazing especially the garlic bread and clam chowder. My only critique is the level of saltiness which was very high. The crabs in themselves are amazingly fresh and succulent and a modest dash of salt would’ve sufficed. Instead there was much too much sodium which slightly killed the naturally glorious taste of the crustaceans. So yes, perhaps ask the patron if they’d prefer less salt or provide an option for that? Especially as shellfish/crabs often veer on the side of being salty even when fresh out of the sea. Other than that, LOVE THE PLACE, LOVE THE SERVICE, will most definitely be back and soon!!!
Jaymes our waiter was on pointe! Service was fantastic and the food was crazy good delicious. The steam pot was awesome...ordered in BBQ flavor. The blackened shrimp was darn good too. This was a very busy night given it was Valentine's. We had an absolutely nice dinner.
Restaurant week menu was very good!
Queen crab was delicious, great services, xxxxxxxx
Great service, I understand we were there on Christmas day. Didn’t expect much. But food too salty for me, I ordered daddy bucket. Over all was good.
Good food. Our kids (4 and 2) were noisy, but no one cared. Our server, Bessie, did a great job.
Food and service were good, overall great experience
When we arrived I informed the hostess that we had reservations for 4 and she looked at us like we had just arrived from Mars. I showed her our confirmation and I might as well been talking to a tree. We did get seated at a booth about as far away other guests as possible which made us feel isolated. The waitress acted as though we were interfering with her life. Service was mediocre at best. Once our food arrived it took asking 3 different staff members to get our silverware. I find it hard to believe that this Joe's is still a part of the Landry's empire, it is certainly not up to their standards. I see no reason to ever return.
Great place for seafood, especially crab of every kind!
Great food. Would have preferred a Dungenus Crab only bucket option.
Service & food quality was excellent! Our server was amazing. However, it took a while to get our check & our kids were getting restless & impatient. The only big downfall to eating at Joes Crab Shack was the cost. For 2 adults & 3 kids, we spent nearly $150. We would go back, but only on special occasions.
It was our first time eating at Joes Crab shack and the whole experience was amazing! The atmosphere was fun and friendly and the food was even better!! It’s now one of our favorite places we’ve eaten at!
It was great had fun. I love the experience for my birthday
Joe’s Crab Shack had great local seafood with a true shack ambiance. I recommend finding space on the patio as it’s a bit chilly inside.
Mediocre food and a staff lacking leadership. Absence of management
Always a good place to eat crab! We love splitting the Crab Daddy Feast to get a little bit of multiple kinds of crab. The crab and shrimp dip appetizer we tried was delicious as well.
Order was wrong from drinks to meal. Appetizer never arrived, accept on the bill. A simple chicken sandwich with no bacon was wrong. Overall experience was disappointing. We will not be back to this Joe’s.
