Jose - Dallas
Loved the patio. Great service. Great food. Great day.
This was a fantastic experience. We didn't expect to like the food & service this much!! Loved the appetizers & mains. The drinks are incredible.--so many tequilas with unusual ingredients. We would go back when in Dallas.
One of the most delicious and fun brunches in Dallas - the outside patio is the way to go, rain or shine! (they've got a big top cover and heating lamps to accommodate for weather).
Enjoyed the drinks and assortment of food. Chips and 2 salsas are very good too! My favs are the tuna tostadas and soft shell crab tacos!
I likedJose but it was a bit expensive for lunch.
The menu read and taste like a culinary expedition through Mexico. Each dish provided excitement!
Anastacia Quiñones, the head chef here is one of the best in Dallas. By far the most creative platters in Mexican culinary and not to mention her amazing taco creations are second to none.
Great vibe and atmosphere - OK food and service
Everything was fantastic from top to bottom! Great service, delicious food, I went back the next night and ate the same meal again.
Andrea our server was SUPER !!!!
El conocimiento de la comida que se prepara en el
Restaurante es exceptional !!!
For the first time we tried dessert and it he chocolate cheesecake was excellent!
Out fast. Everything was excellent. The staff was amazing!
Great food - cool atmosphere!
Out first visit was for brunch on a Saturday. We had a wonderful Mexican omelet and the Huevos Rancheros which was also very good. The Bloody Maria was spicy and delicious. Wine list was so-so but beer and cocktail selection much better. Service was friendly and I would describe decor as modern Mexico. We have already made a second reservation and are inviting friends.
Jose serves very creative and tasteful food but if they do not get a handle on their service I’m afraid good food will not bring us back. The absolute worst service I’ve experienced is a very long time at any restaurant. In no particular order, we were rushed as soon as were seated and waiter attitude was poor,we asked for the candle on our table to be lit and it was not, could not get our sparkling water delivered, they could not open up a bottle of wine, rather they struggled with 2 bottles of wine, could no longer find our original wait person so we had to flag down others. Your policy of paying your bill via an iPad while the server waits does not allow for an honest tip. Please do more training.
I had the mole. It was so salty, I spent the rest of the evening drinking tons of water. Wait staff was friendly and space was nice if not a bit too loud.
Nice environment, good selection of food, nice bar area. Enjoyed our food and drinks.
We like to try new spots in Dallas and this modern Mex spot is definitely worth a visit. The salsa and chips are outstanding--one smoky variety of salsa and a second spicy jalapeno version. Always a mark of a great Mexican spot. My 25-year-old daughter had the grilled salmon which she claimed was the best she'd had. My other daughter and I shared the enchiladas suiza--nice tangy salsa verde! Cocktails were creative and outstanding. Refreshing and delicious and not overly sweet. I highly recommend the Antidote! We had the guac and the elotes fresh corn appetizers --standard Mex fare done exquisitely well. Last but not least, our server was the perfect combo of friendly and helpful. Go!! I will be back when it's patio season!
The atmosphere is perfect! The service was the absolute right amount of attentive! The food was superb and delicious! I think that about sums it up! Oh, wait...how could I forget the cocktails??? The Usual was perfect, and I highly recommend!!
The margaritas are the best in town. They have gone up in price & the glass looks smaller, but they are still delicious. I guess we can assume the price increase is due to a tequila tariff created by Trump. All problems are Trump until proven otherwise.
I really enjoy Jose! Great food, cool atmosphere, and the staff is very helpful.
Excellent experience. Very busy and energetic restaurant. We had reservations but due to traffic we were 10 minutes late. We called ahead and advised them. We were warmly greeted and still seated within 10 minutes of arrival.
Server Alan was great. He knew the menu and made several good recommendations. Two friends had Highland Park enchiladas which they raved about. My wife had Achahuelto Pescado and I had Studio Salmon. Both were excellent.
All in all a wonderful experience. As noted it is busy. Plan ahead for dinner: we made reservations a week in advance.
Love it can’t wait to go back
Great food. Great service. Love the outdoor patio!
All the reviews are correct. Nice ambience, better with a group. Service was excellent, knowledgeable server. Food served to quickly and warm, not hot. Drinks and food slightly overpriced. Not a horrible experience, definitely not the routine dish but hurried. Overall, for dinner we were in and out in 30 minutes with drinks, appetizers and entrees. A little quick for a restaurant that could make itself unique.
amazing food!!! our service was excellent and the food options are perfect. It's a new favorite place!!!
Used OpenTable to get a reservation and showed up a bit early. Sat at the bar for drinks while we waited. Reservation time came and went and no one came to seat us.
Eventually we just ate at the bar.
Asked for margaritas with salt.....came with no salt. Asked for flour tortillas didn’t have any.
Nothing catastrophic but just a lot of little things. That’s why I gave them a 3
The food was nicely presented but pretty tasteless. My group of 5 ladies all felt the same. The chips were very good but enchiladas were dry and taquitoes were soggy sitting on beans and topped with heavy salad. Need to serve salad and beans on side.
Awesome atmosphere and great food! Perfect for girls night or a family dinner. The staff is superb
Margaritas were below average and way overpriced. Had to wait almost 45 min past our reservation time to be seated. Seated at a table facing the kitchen entrance and had to stare at dirty floors, kitchen mats, and a fire extinguisher. Decor was very boring except for one wall. Everything was white. Food was just okay.
A noisy bar scene with a long list of tequila and mezcal offerings. Food offerings are simple, with almost no vegetarian or healthy options.
The food was good quality and tasty. We made a reservation and were seated right away. I like the décor and design, especially of the secondary inside patio type area- that was a cool touch. However, it was extremely loud and my husband and I had to shout at each other the whole time, and the table was not that big. It was a busy Saturday night, and they had everyone seated for the most part in the front room and barely anybody in the inside patio- I assume that was on purpose as they were probably waiting for a big party to arrive but still would have been nice to spread it out. Overall, good food and drinks and a good atmosphere if going out with friends- not an intimate setting however.
This place has nice ambiance, good food and a varied drink menu. I enjoyed my food and the margarita was ok. The drink prices are outrageous. A skinny margarita cost $14.00. Those prices will keep me at Mi Cocina!
Fun place for a drink and apps with friends in the summer time on the patio. NOT a place to go to have a conversation. Incredibly loud and noisy.
Chef AQ Pittman is da BOSS; love her and love the food. Rosa was a friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable server. Fun place!
We We’re pleasantly surprised that there was no wait for our Sunday brunch. We really appreciated the background info on the ceramics and artwork from the owner and thought it was neat to learn about.
Outstanding cocktails and food - very delicious and fresh - fun atmosphere - can't wait to go again!
The food and drinks were fabulous
We enjoyed the food tremendously but our service was about as good as it gets. We had a great time
Geart outdoor seating... great drinks... and wonderful vibe...
