Kalpna is a Vegetarian Indian restaurant located close to Edinburgh’s Old Town. Its location at 2-3 St Patrick Square is less than 5 minutes’ drive from Waverley Station. Situated between Holyrood Park and The Meadows, Arthur’s Seat is only 5 minutes from the restaurant. With only a couple of minutes between them, Kalpna is in close proximity to Festival Theatre and The Pleasance. The interior of the restaurant is suitable for an intimate dining experience. The walls are decorated with mirrors and motifs traditional to India. Kalpna’s owner and head chef Ajay Bhartdwaj uses authentic recipes he has picked up over the years and includes these in his menu. Curry specialties from North and West India also find their ways into the menu.
