We were a group of 10. We had the set menu which I am always wary of as it is very difficult to serve 10 people with great food. However I do believe the food at Kirbie is outstanding and it did not disappoint. Food was exceptional. Enough for everyone timed perfectly and demolished by all. Thank you Kirbie amazing afternoon.

During our dining experience hot wax fell on my wife and I from candles above our heads. Thankfully only our clothing was ruined and we didn’t get hot wax skin or scalp burns. Our fish pasta dish was flavourful but not hot enough and clams were overcooked. Our prawn entree came out at dessert time. It was an unfortunate dining experience.

Our first time at Kirbie. We will be back. Wonderful engaging, attentive staff. The head chef was introduced personally and dropped by the table a number of times. Cheers, Nick! It was a pleasure also to meet Kirbie. The food was outstanding. Oysters, kingfish delicious. Beef tartare and the garlic fougass(with Kirbie butter) a highlight. We also shared the asparagus and glazed Otway pork. First class. We were assisted with wine choice, that was perfect. Just a really impressive experience and so glad we’ve found this gem.
