Started off the experience with being 25 minutes late. Booking was for 8pm , got seated close to 8:30. When seated chef didn’t bother greeting, just seemed like he was so rushed to get everything together after being already late. The overall experience felt way too casual for the price of $195. The food was good, but the overall experience felt rushed and definitely not worth the price tag.

The food was really good, especially the dessert!!! Loved the sushi, and basically everything, but I was hoping there would be a main course like rice or noodles, given that we got the $195 course for dinner, but overall, it was good, and you should consider come here if you live close by and love japanese cuisine.

it was not our first time omakase or eating sushi but Kuon Sushi Sei still managed to refresh our expectations what a budget price omakase could experience - absolutely smashed 🔥 strongly recommend to come here for your cute little date or birthday celebration, the chef and staff will make sure you have the best experience

Intimate and cozy setting and service was great. Not the freshest fish we have had but for the price, it was very worth it. A great introduction to omakase.

Typical of Japanese food, it was delicious but could have had slightly larger servings so still a little hungry for a snack about 4 or so hours later. But it was very, very good food.

The ingredients at this restaurant really aren’t that fresh. The oysters had a noticeable fishy smell—not sure if it was because we went during the last seating, but all the fish also tasted dry and lacked freshness. I wouldn’t call them spoiled, but they were far from tasty. We also ordered a small birthday dessert for an extra $10, and the flavor was…. Tasted like something straight from a supermarket freezer. As for service, it was pretty much non-existent.
