@kyuu.denver is not like other sushi! 🍣 They’re experimenting with flavors that mix traditional ingredients and take sushi to a new level! 😋 For the drink we got their fresh raspberry collins! Made beautifully and tastes great! 🍸 We started off with an order or their artichoke hearts paired with a macho aioli with the right amount of kick! 🦵🏻 From the raw bar we got the Hokkaido new style and the salmon new style! 🐟 The scallops were huge! And the salmon was extremely fresh! ☺️ We got their white lotus roll served with the macho sauce! The macho sauce is an interesting sauce pickly, spicy, and savory! 🤤 We also tried their eleven mile roll. This one was unique like all their other combinations! We ended with some nigiri, salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and unagi! Can never go wrong and you can taste freshness! Thank KYUU for having us! The sushi was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful! We will definitely be back!

Great date night spot. Really enjoyed our dinner. I will have to say the fish they used all were higher quality with no fish smell and all the great texture. Highly recommend the Aka Tsuki! Thx Hannah and Staff. Yall were amazing

What a great find and recommendation from OpenTable! This is a small (read: intimate) restaurant with several of the tables being small, short bar rounds. I had booked this for a business meeting, and we decided to take a table outside for additional room, which may have contributed to the slip in service from an otherwise very nice waiter. I also think he got slammed with his tables inside and was very apologetic about it. No harm, no foul! The larger table was also a good choice, as the plates the sushi and noodles are served on would not have fit on a smaller table. The food was excellent! I'm not usually a fan of tofu, but there was a spicy, creamy tofu dish with udon noodles that was VERY good! Overall, it was excellent!

Kyuu has quickly become one of my favorite sushi places, so fresh, consistent, amazing flavors and the staff is genuinely SO nice every single time I come here. We had date night here and its was nothing short of amazing! Thank you Kyuu! :)

This place is great. Brought to you by the folks who ran Sushi Sasa. Excellent (but relatively small) menu, top quality fish. Excellent presentation and amazing value for what you get. Go spend 5x at Matsuhisa or get something close for a steal here!

We had the most amazing meal at Kyuu. The entire experience was incredible. Our server Edward was wonderful, he explained the menu with great detail and everything he recommended was incredible. The atmosphere was also really beautiful-highly recommend, we will definitely be back!

Such a great experience. The fish was so fresh and beautifully served. Service was excellent, as were the cocktails, and prices were great compared to the quality of the food and the creativity of the dish. First time eating there and I'll definitely be back!

I wanted to try this new place and read from the reviews that it was very good. Our server was very dull with no personality and didn’t come around much at all. We ordered the black miso cod and it was very fishy tasting, which is definitely not the way you taste. The roles were average, but nothing special. I expected a lot higher quality from the reviews.

Our experience was a 12 out of 10! Finn, our server, was so helpful helping us navigate a number of different allergies- and he was patient and kind throughout. The food was beyond our expectations and they were pretty high based on the reviews we had read. The crispy rice was dreamy- the bluefin like butter and the drinks were delicious. So glad to have such a beautiful and excellent sushi place in the neighborhood!!!’
