Definitely not the same Lahiki pre covid. No steaks, no hand roll sushi, no lechon, no stone crab claws. Prime rib lacked flavor, ice cream was cheap imitation type, ramen over cooked mushy noodles, kalbi was dry and hard. A lot of flies, especially around the cold seafood. Won't be back.

Great and friendly cooks and servers. Fish and seafoods were overly cooked, were dry and tough to chew.

went for valentine’s day breakfast brunch but nothing was different on the menu than any other day, would be nice if they had some specials for a special occasion since getting a reservation for their popular brunc/lunch is difficult. Also, they need to change their price for kids, any child under 12 is 30 bucks, but how is that fair when a 3 year old (my child) doesn’t eat as much as a -2 year old? should be half off for children 5 and under or something.

Lahiki Kitchen has always been my favorite buffet on Oʻahu. After trying for a long time to secure a reservation for my birthday, I was pleasantly surprised when a table finally opened up. It happened to be a very rainy day, and I worried it might affect the experience—but the team at Lahiki delivered from start to finish. Our server, Shena, provided thoughtful, attentive service throughout the entire meal, with genuine care and attention to detail. What keeps me coming back every time is the range of offerings—from the raw seafood bar to the lobster, there’s always something to look forward to. Most of all, it’s a place that feels special to share with my mom, and Lahiki consistently makes it feel that way.

The casual, resort-casual atmosphere and buffet format make it easy for groups and children, though you may want to call ahead to request specific seating or mobility accommodations.

For a lively, indulgent experience go for the Sunday brunch (11:00 am–3:00 pm), it’s the signature offering with lobster, seafood, and live music. If you prefer a quieter visit with good value, weekday breakfasts (Mon–Fri) are noted as less crowded and an outstanding value. For freshness and shorter waits, aim for early seatings or make a reservation, especially on weekends and holidays.
