La Muse is a little gem right on Holloway Rd, close to Highbury & Islington station. A lovely little independent, shabby chic, arty and very relaxed restaurant serving food cooked with passion. The menu changes often, but continually with French cooking at its heart. From beef bourguignon to camembert fondue and onion soup, you’ll find all the classics here (depending on the season). There is also an extensive wine list to suit every taste. We use locally sourced products and only the best ingredients. At the back, there is a fantastic walled garden, perfect all year round. There is a relaxed, breezy atmosphere and we think that there is nothing better than sitting in our garden, enjoying a glass of Picpoul and a platter of French cheeses. But we also organise regular food and wine events and can accommodate birthday parties and large groups (in our fantastic garden)

We we’re slightly disappointed with the food at La Muse, they had run out of vegan options and beef bourguignon was really tough not tender as it should be. The service was ok but a little slow but friendly. I won’t be rushing back unfortunately.?

La Muse is a wonderful little restaurant on Holloway Road with great food, great ambiance and lovely staff. My partner and I come here frequently for dinner and always feel welcome. The food is really good with great value for money. Highly recommend this quaint place for datenight or dinner with friends!

Took my partner there based on online reviews and I have to say it was a 5-star experience for both of us. Great service, the food was delicious (I highly recommend that crème brûlée) and the portions were spot on.

This Fremch restaurant has the most fanstatic food. Do remember to leave room for the Crème brûlée - it is the best ever.

I ordered a fillet steak... it was pretty bad and chips tasted like they were oven chips. For a filet steak I would expect it to be amazing and it wasn't. Too bad though as the staff was really friendly and helpful. Wine and dessert were great though.

My party arrived at 5:00 to an empty restaurant. Despite being told there was no time limit on our table, at 20:00, we were given 15 minutes to leave. One of our party had not even finished drinking the £27 wine still in his glass. I felt personally embarrassed as I thought my friends would enjoy the restaurant, but this spoiled the evening. When the chef barely said good-bye when we left, as requested, I can only surmise that he is not interested in our custom. Very disappointing.
