Service was slow. There was a large group of very loud women. We sat at the other end away from them and had a hard time hearing each other talk. The waiter seemed overwhelmed taking care of the group and could not handle the other tables. Food was ok

If your looking for authentic Middle Eastern food in Brooklyn, forget Atlantic Avenue. Le Sajj is your answer. The food, service and value are the best you can find. This is a family owned restaurant, with that home cooking ambiance. I'm not recommending anything in particular, people who frequent Middle eastern restaurants know what they like. As for the first timers, try a Tapas like introduction and then an entree of your choice.

Have eaten here many times! The Sultan Ibrahim (grilled fish) is marvelous. My favorite is Kibbee Nayeh (raw kibbee): Marwan prepares it three ways. To die for! The shankleesh (aged cheese with onion, oil, tomato and spices) is heavenly. The taboulé and muhammara (spicy pepper spread) are fabulous. All is accompanied by bread baked on the eponymous sajj! Try this Lebanese home-away-from-home!

The owner and his mother served the best Lebanese food I've had since my own cooking. The portions are big. They make their own homemade bread there and it's yummy. The best tabolli served with romaine lettuce to scoop it out. Beautiful framed photos of old Beirut are on the wall, The Lebanese wine was delicious. This is the restaurant I will go to in bay ridge. I will not have to look further. Kathe and dan

I was excited to try thisplace out, especially with the back up to get a weekend reservation. My overall feeling was that they spend more attention on the regulars a bit and we were a bit forgotten (our meals came out separately, drinks were empty). There was also a woman (seemed to be related to an employee) who sat down at an empty table next to us, was on her cell phone, and let her young child run and make noise around the area. Later the apparent manager did come by to chat with us and apologized for the meal mistiming. Food was good but the whole situation was just less than ideal. I'll likely give it another shot since it may have just been an off night.

Had lunch at Le Sajj and had the most wonderful experience. The food, service, ambience and decor made me feel like I was in Lebanon. Marwan the manager/owner was quite attentive and took the time to explain how the food was prepared and how it should be eaten. I would highly recommend Le Sajj especially on weekends when there is Belly dancing and a more robust crowd.Would certainly go back to this resturant.

Le Sajj offers the most authentic Lebanese dining experience I have found in New York City. The owner, Marwan, takes pride in ensuring his guests enjoy every aspect of their dining experience. Le Sajj is a real gem and I intend to return often!
