Lefty's in Magnolia, AR. is our go to place for upscale dining and entertaining! Everything about Lefty's is perfect and geared towards customer satisfaction. For me personally, there is no other place that matches what they offer and deliver every time!

Lefty’s is always a most pleasant dinning experience. The hostess and staff are extremely pleasant and friendly. The service is beyond expected. And the food and beverages are superb. The atmosphere of the place is one of the most pleasing you will experience. I have only good things to say about it and if you go there you will know why it is rated as Arkansas’ Best.

Don’t know what was wrong that night. Had reservations for our 51st anniversary. We were seated on time but our table was directly across from the kitchen door & there was a constant movement of servers in & out. Distracting & definitely not romantic or quiet. Ordered drinks: I ordered a Kettle One martini straight up, dry, with 3 olives (please). What I got was a dirty martini with 1 olives. I sent it back & eventually I was brought a small martini glass about 1/3 full. My husband’s Tito’s vodka tonic was very weak but he did order a single bc we were driving back to Hope. Asked for calamari for an appetizer- it is listed on the online menu but that menu is wrong- don’t have that anymore so we ordered a Caesar salad to split. After a good while she came back & said they didn’t have a Caesar salad so we opted for a garden with honey mustard. They also did not have that so we chose their home made thousand island. When our entres came @ 8:30 (1 solid hour after our reservation) we still had not received our salad. When she did bring it she brought ranch dressing. It was just a sad evening for a $150 dinner. We would have spent more if the drinks were decent, our table was in a quiet location, etc. in the end they did discount our entres 50% & gave us a complimentary desert to share but we were underwhelmed. No idea why this happened to us. As I said- had reservation for ANNIVERSARY- arrived on time, dressed nice. 🤷‍♀️

Service team is excellent. All positions respond and react to customer needs. Food was excellent with specials that were extra excellent. Left thinking I needed to come back sooner than later

The vibe in the restaurant is great. Super cool place. Our waitress was very attentive and the host who sat us was very high energy and kind. The food left us disappointed. I had the ribeye and opted for the herb butter topper. Had I left that off I might have enjoyed it more. The side with that is a hassleback potato atop a cheese sauce. It was flavorless and was a very small portion. The herb butter was very acidic but not a lemony acidic - i couldn't put my finger on it - and it was very heavy with garlic. My husband got the steak oscar, filet, and it was okay - but respectfully so are the steaks at roadhouse which are a fraction of the cost. Both steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered. Their cocktail menu is very extensive. I will just say it was ok overall in regards to the meal and I think that is important because the meal for my husband and I to eat was $250. We expected it to be pricey so that is ok, but we only had one cocktail each and the food was just mediocre so a let down when spending so much on a date night. You should give it a try if your curious. It's a cool place. Just maybe opt out on the butter sauce - or the ribeye all together.

This was our third try to love Lefty’s. First time 2 years ago - great. Second time a year ago - service was great but the entrees were over seasoned and just not tasty. Third time this week - service and food was just not good. After being offered the salad without cheese which my husband wanted, it was served with cheese. Appetizer was good - not great. Entrees were again over seasoned with salt to the point if burning your mouth. Shrimp were cooked hard for the Pasta Entree option - 2 bites and I called it quits. The Chicken Entree was dry and over seasoned as well. My husband had requested a refill beverage and finally after 4 requests it was served. This place is honestly a beautiful renovation and has so much potential. Hopefully constructive feedback and reviews like this will help improve the food quality and service. I don’t know if we’re up for a Fourth visit to give them another chance.
