We booked a table at the last minute not knowing what to expect but when we arrived we were shocked at how well the place was decorated (we were seated in the loft). The staff was incredibly welcoming and the manager generously offered us a complimentary glass of champagne as we sat on their SWINGS waiting for a table. The decorations were over the top, really phenomenal. The food was excellent as well but I would go back just for the environment. A+
This place was amazing...
This was my second time and I can’t wait to come back!
Lenas was a top notch dining experience. The waiter and waitress were extremely friendly and the food was outstanding.
It was really nice! I definitely recommend checking them out. I took my boyfriend here on a date. We sat in the outdoor oasis. Food was delicious! We will be back!!
The music was so loud, that the other guests were then speaking very loudly to hear each other at their own tables. Even our waiter apologized for feeing like he was yelling at us, because he had to in order to be louder than the music. It was just overwhelming and took away from enjoying the full experience.
Had a really good time meeting up with a friend! The waiter, Tommy, would check up on us a good amount, but not too much. He was helpful in recommending food and drinks. Fantastic experience and definitely plan on going back again.
Amazing service, good and spring decor 💚 I will definitely be BACK for brunch at Lena’s Full Bloom!
The service and food was amazing. The crab dip was really delicious. I had a great time and the decor was beautiful.
It’s amazing mostly because of the decor- we had a reservation and were early but weren’t seated until an hour and a half after ... but other then that, highly recommend!
Lena's is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. The food and service are consistently excellent. They have also done an outstanding job with safety protocols during the pandemic.
I love Lena’s. I took out a friend of mine to celebrate her birthday and we had a great time. The environment was perfect and service and food excellent. Will return to celebrate my 50th birthday
We arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes before our reservation. Although they had run out of parking in the garage, a lovely young man helped us maneuver a street space by the restaurant. We were in the Oasis tent for dinner. Nick was our server and was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The food was amazing and we look forward to coming back again soon!
This place is amazing the seasonal decor is impeccable and picture worthy. Food is average but service is stellar.
We had reservations for Easter brunch at the Loft and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The decor of the space was beautiful and so fun! The food was outstanding. I recommend ordering a pizza as an appetizer for the table so you can taste both the fantastic pizza AND incredible homemade pasta for an entree.
Highly recommend the restaurant in any of their oil spaces.
The space is beautiful but the service was really terrible. Literally ignored by our waiter for a long time.
In addition, we were told the pizza may come out a little before our entrees, but it came out 40 minutes before the rest of the table had their food. So awful.
Basically, we didn’t get to eat together and had to beg our waiter to pay attention to us.
The service was a bit slow. It looked like he was just overwhelmed with the number of tables and guests he had. We however were not in a rush so we didn’t mind waiting. He was still polite and everything came out correctly. We love this place and definitely will be back.
The Loft is uplifting and beautiful. The food was good, but not perfect. Mimosas were quite small. Great place for getting together with friends and hanging out, good drinks and good service, but some of the food could use improvements.
Great food, awesome drinks, very helpful staff. A very fun atmosphere!
Great first experience dining. Waiter was very nice and very knowledgeable with food choices. Family and I will dine in again!
Adorable for date night
The Oasis had a cute atmosphere, pizza was delicious, staff were friendly.
Great place to meet up with family and friends. Food and service was great.
sat upstairs in the loft (first time upstairs).. decor is distracting and looked like a Micheals explosion.. hard to converse with others at the table due to loud background music.. the concrete floors and walls don’t absorb any sound.. but the food was great and the space is open and airy.
Brought a friend from PA to see the new Bloom!
Our waitress was a bit unfriendly and always in a hurry. Didn’t have time for questions, etc. it was only 5:30 so wasn’t packed yet ...and they sat the 2 of us at a table for 6 even though I had a reservation for over a week.
The music was so loud we could barely talk. The food and drinks were okay but just seemed rushed and harried today. (Dishes crashed 4 times behind the waitstaff wall!).
They did a lovely job with the new decor in The Loft. It’s still one of my favorite places in town.
Great space, although the hot air was too much at times. Food was good.
Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday, the service was excellent, the decor was absolutely beautiful, and we had a great time.
We visited Lena’s Loft for the first time since the spring refresh - and we loved the light, airy, spring feel of the new interior design.
Their was live music on Thursday night which made for moderate noise levels, rather than the usual quiet. But the music was good and fit the vibe of the space.
The food, drinks and service were all at their usual high standards. We had a great evening and dinner and we’ll be back.
The food and service is phenomenal! And it’s a beautiful restaurant with spring blooms!
Food was excellent! Ate lunch in the Oasis. Temps were quite cool so the heater generated some noise, but not so much as to discourage conversation. Service was good , but we waited a long time to pay after receiving our bill from a hostess . The server returned to our table and was surprised to see our bill and card waiting on the table. It was not busy so not certain about the hold up
I love Lena's and go there often. A friend and I were trying to make it a regular weeknight plan, but that may be challenging. The last 4-5 times I've been there (2 of which were in the last 2 weeks) the service has been extremely slow and orders have come out incomplete or missing. I've noticed there is usually 1....MAYBE 2 servers for the entire outside (which is packed) and the inside of the taproom. They are very kind and apologetic for the opportunity, and it's not their fault. The place is clearly understaffed.
The two times previous to my outdoor visits, I was in the Oasis while it had plenty of people hustling around, our server seemed to forget about us. He came by to clean off the table once we had finished dinner. We were hoping to order dessert, but it took him another 15 minutes to come back and ask us. By that point, we were full had been sitting there without food or drink and just over it. He was very nice, but he was either just really busy or distracted. I couldn't tell which. On that visit, I saw several people working and some seemed to be new, so we brushed it off as training. We still really like the food (red wine selection is "okay" but not great for an Italian place) and the live music on Tuesdays is certainly a win!
We still love Lena's and definitely understand the pandemic caused it's own challenges, but it is getting ready to get even busier with the spring season upon us and these are some challenges as a customer I saw that could be improved to keep repeat customers and to keep your staff happy. Stressed out and running around staff do not enjoy their work and therefore likely don't provide great service.
Enjoy Lena's. Two bathrooms makes dining there challenging when have to stand in line six people deep.
I love the new Oasis at Lena’s, so much so that I invited a friend who lives in DC to drive out of the city to join me for dinner. It was not crowded, as it was a Tuesday night, yet the hostess sat us next to the emergency exit next to the giant tent air machine with a direct view of 7/11. We didn’t ask to move tables because we get it, COVID, but why seat paying customers in the worst seat in the house on a slow night? I don’t blame the hostess, but the restaurant should really consider removing that table from the rotation on slow nights. I did not have the Lena’s oasis experience I was hoping for, especially after spending almost $200.
While it was a light and whimsical experience - the decor was beautiful- our meatball pizza was not the highlight of the meal. Our salads were great and so was the crab dip. The pizza crust wasn't that tasty and there wasn't much sauce on it. If I ate there again, I would probably try sitting in the oasis section of the restaurant, because we were looking for a more natural setting than flowers painted on the walls.
I wanted to visit Lena’s to scout it as a potential place to have my birthday happy hour or brunch. The newly remodeled loft is SO BEAUTIFUL!! It’s like they took every aesthetic that I love and put it in one room. Our waitress Jessica was really nice and was able to provide menu suggestions. For an appetizer we tried to huge meatball and it was delicious! My dad never really likes meatballs from restaurants but he actually complimented it a few times on the way home! My mom ordered the crab cake entree, I ordered the salmon entree and my dad ordered the chicken Alfredo. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and left nothing on our plates. I ordered the strawberry mousse cake to go and although it did not look too appealing, it was delicious! I will definitely be back and have my birthday event at Lena’s!
