Creative and delicious food. Excellent service.
Great food and service
Fantastic breakfast! Must get the Gouda and bacon bread as well as a cinnamon bun. So so good! Service was outstanding! A great way to start our trip in Chicago.
Food is always amazing, as well as service. I tend to order the same thing over and over again (Tonkatsu sammy), but I did try my friend's Mac Attack burger. It was sooo good! We also attended the cookie decorating class afterwards with Faith. We had so much fun!
The food is just way too rich. Every dish is over the top that nobody finished their meal and all felt gross afterwards.
We love Little Goat Diner. Our D.C. based guests arrived on the late side, so Little Goat was a perfect spot for a late lunch/breakfast. I enjoyed the Fish Tostada's, which were covered in a crunchy and delicious slaw. My partner ordered a side of hash browns. It really hard to stop.nibbling off his plate! Our friends had Elvis Waffles and Blueberry pancakes.
Overall, it was a terrific choice for a lazy Monday afternoon.
One of the few restaurants that has a dedicated gluten free menu and prep (no cross contamination). A lot of terrific choices, and delicious foods. It's a home run
I wanted to love Little Goat, but the food was very underwhelming in my opinion. I ordered the fish tostadas and they really lacked flavor. There was way too much slaw on top which I think was to mask the lack of actual fish on the tostadas. We also ordered the tonkatsu which wasn’t that great either. I was really looking forward to this experience and unfortunately I would not return again.
Delicious food! A fun diner experience in a great location in Chicago
Very hectic, noisy place. Food was good but really nothing exceptional. My first time here and actually felt a bit disappointed. Probably won’t be back.
Love this place, however the service we received outside was very slow. It appeared as though they need more staff or more attentive wait staff.
Amazing! The food was incredible. I had the fat Elvis waffles and couldn’t stop talking about them.
This place is epic...open one in Boston and I’ll run it!!!
What a disappointment! Did not live up to the hype at all. The menu is full of interesting sounding fusion dishes but we ordered just tasted terrible. The only decent dishes were basic Mac and Cheese and plain pancakes from the kids menu. Everything else was greasy and tasted terrible.
Food and drinks were great, but service was incredibly slow. Too slow for a place with the reputation like Little Goat. Although Zachary is very easy on the eyes, he captained the USS Space Cadet last night.
Really cute for a special meal outing! Service was attentive and great
The restaurant was too noisy for conversation inside but we were able to be seated outside which was lovely. Food very good and wait staff and greeters were exceptionally friendly and accommodating
Had a group from out of town for a work event. Most of the locals here in Chicago raved about the food- which lived up to it. However, we had the worst service. It took 15 mins for our server to come over, then another 20 mins for drinks. Our food took over 30 mins. The entire group was starving before the food came out. We attempted multiple times to get anyone's attention. Finally the food came and all of us stuffed it down because it took so long. Ready to leave, our waiter disappeared so I ended up having to ask the front desk for out check.
Great menu and great service!
The food was fantastic, especially since I am gluten free! I was very happy to see they had a gluten free menu with a variety of options and my server was very knowledgeable about gluten free options. A huge table came in right before my reservation so it took quite a while to get our drinks and our orders in but they gave us our fries on the house because of the delay which I appreciated. (I recommend you get the fries with their house-made mayo!)
It’s a great upscaled diner experience. This was my second visit and it was even better than the first. The patty melt with goat was probably the best I’ve ever had. Many napkins were needed however. The chocolate cake was also worth it alone.
Food was incredible. Servers were super kind and accommodating. We sat outside at a table surrounded by fresh flowers! If anyone was loud, it was my kids at our table. They let us order off the kids' menu with 'special add-ons'. Coffee was strong and great -- they weren't super fast/regular with the coffee refills, though, that'd be my only 'note'. I can't wait to return.
The Little Goat was very accommodating. The server made great recommendations, the food came out timely, and I had a great friends get together there. I would go back again.
Most of the food was delicious but the Caesar salad was dry and fairly flavorless compared to other items.
It was fantastic! Great food and service!!
Food and service was excellent. The dishes may sound simple and ordinary but are nothing but. Everything here is excellent.
Good creative food, attentive service!
Great food! Unique menu, cocktails were great as well
Delicious as always. Our party tried both standard breakfast fare and creative specials, and all were wonderful.
Shareable portions, unique menu,
Great place, especially breakfast and lunch. Sort of an upscale diner feel, retro touches but with a central skylight! Food is wonderful, not your typical stuff. Prices are really no more than other nearby places in the West Loop, but superior food for sure. Definitely recommend.
Really interesting and unique food variety and ingredients
Always a treat when we are in
The city. So fresh and creative.
Cute place, service was a little slow but food was good
Delicious food and great service. Staff was friendly and helpful. I expected great food from a Stephanie Izard space and was not disappointed.
Terrible. I have taken my team to duck duck goat three times over the past few months, table of eight, amazing! Truly exceptional. We thought we’d try Little Goat. The food was OK, nothing great, but the service was absolutely horrible. We had two servers that didn’t know what they were doing. And apothetic. Got the wrong food three times, and they did not care. At all. Not even an apology. The last remake took 35 minutes, the rest the table was already done eating of course. Super disappointed, and will never return.
An overrated and disappointing experience. This place is built on hype rather and performance. The food was sub par. Service is mediocre. There are many other places that are better. I would not go back
We were really disappointed with the bread they serve for breakfast. It tastes like cheap pre sliced supermarket bread (we expected fresh bread from their bakery). The menu is VERY meat heavy and there are very limited options for vegetarians.
Great service - very helpful! The food was yummy - great and interesting combinations - the 6 of us , for the most part, tried different things so we could all try bites of each other’s - yummy! Definitely recommend.....make a reservation!!
I have been to Little goat now a few times and it has been consistently amazing. I have had different servers, I've been there at different times, I've been they're both during the week and on weekends. It doesn't matter. I highly recommend this place if you desire slightly more upscale diner food in a bustling neighborhood with great atmosphere.
