About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Good for special occasions
  • Neighborhood gem
The Littlest Tea Room is our quiet nod to the parlor rooms our Southern mothers and grandmothers forbid us to play in as children and kept pristine for company. Hidden behind a secret wall in Little Native Coffee Co., LTR blends British afternoon tea with the warmth of a home always ready to receive guests. In short: it’s a speakeasy-style tea served with Southern hospitality.

*******Expecting chef-made finger sandwiches with the crusts cut off? That’s not us. We don’t have a kitchen—or a chef—just lovingly curated bites from local vendors, our fanciest cups, and sincere southern hospitality that (we hope) makes you feel like family.********

YES, we can accommodate GF, dairy-free, and most allergy requests with 48-hour notice. Please add restrictions to your reservation or email us. *********

PARTIES OF 4+ — You MUST email LittlestTeaRoom@gmail.com to book. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE COFFEE SHOP. Baristas cannot modify reservations.

The atmosphere was wonderful and adorable. Spinach artichoke dip was the best bite. Really liked that each person got an individual pot of tea.

Love the Littlest Tea Room! I've gone twice and gotten the Full tea both times. It's very filling, the vibes are cozy, and the food is delicious. The tea menu changes per season and both Winter and Spring tea menus were lovely. Highly recommend, will definitely go again

What a beautiful place to spend time with friends and family or even a date afternoon/night. The ambience is beautiful , the food was great. A perfect assortment to go with your tea. It was quiet enough to hear our conversation with elegant relaxing music in the background. Our host was friendly and attentive. She explained everything we needed to know in order to enjoy our stay. We will for sure be back soon!

The whole experience began with a wonderfully cute passage behind the bookcase into a nice cozy and comfortable room. The menu while small had good options and the pastries and tea were delicious.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at tea. They did a fantastic job accommodating a food sensitivity. The tea it self was outstanding and the pastries and savories were delicious.

FAQs

Yes, Littlest Tea Room is a cozy, romantic pick for a date night. The secret bookcase entrance and intimate speakeasy-style room create a special, private-feeling atmosphere ideal for two. Choose the 90-minute Full Littlest Tea or the 60-minute Golden Hour for a relaxed, lingering experience; guests repeatedly praise the ambiance, tea selection, and attentive service. Plan ahead for a reservation since the space is small and often booked.

Partially, the space is very small and intimate, but many guests have enjoyed visits with children and strollers and staff have accommodated families. There’s a dedicated Littlest Wanderer children’s tea and kid-friendly drink options. Because the room is tight, larger strollers or very active little ones may be challenging; if you have accessibility needs, contact the team ahead of time to confirm arrangements.

Weekday mid-mornings or early afternoons are best for a quieter experience, the tea room is popular and often booked, so aim for Tuesday–Thursday if you want a more peaceful visit. If you’re coming for a special occasion, reserve in advance; guests note weekends and themed holiday sessions fill up quickly.

Yes, the team asks guests to add dietary restrictions to the reservation or email them (LittlestTeaRoom@gmail.com). They can accommodate allergies and special requests with notice, and parties of 4+ must email to book. Guests report helpful, proactive communication from hosts before arrival.

Casual dress, guests often dress up for the photo opportunities and special feel, but the official dress code is casual. If you want to embrace the experience, the 90-minute service includes borrowable fascinators and gloves for a playful, dressy touch.

Warm, whimsical, and cozy, think a tiny Victorian parlor meets Southern hospitality. Guests describe a speakeasy-style, dark-academia vibe with pretty china, soft lighting, books, and thoughtful decor that makes the experience feel special and transported. The mood is calm and intimate, great for conversation and celebration.

Yes, families bring children here and many guests report delightful experiences with kids. The Littlest Wanderer children’s tea is designed for ages 2–9 and includes kid-sized pots, warm pastries, and playful trinkets. Because the tearoom is small and quiet, very young or active children may be a tighter fit, so consider an earlier seating or communicate needs ahead of time.

Busiest: weekends and holiday/themed sessions, the room books up quickly and guests report reservations filling weeks or months ahead. Quietest: weekday mid-mornings and early afternoons tend to be calmer and better for a more private experience. Reserve early for weekend slots or special events.

Weekdays (Tuesday–Thursday) are best if you want a quieter, more relaxed visit. Weekends are popular for celebrations and themed teas, so expect busier service and earlier booking requirements on Saturdays and Sundays.
