Bookings at Lola's Filipino Diner is only for our Boodle Fights, a nostalgic experience for those familiar and one to be had by everyone. Food is set on a table lined with banana leaves, you are encouraged to eat with your hands (cutlery is available if you prefer). The Boodle fight was very good, the fried chicken was crispy, the rice was similar to a biryani or pilaf and the pickles and salads fresh and tangy. The refillable soft drink was choice of fruit punch or iced tea. The setup with the food laid onto the table on banana leaves made it a fun and very sociable way to dine.

The Boodle Fight was delicious! Ambience was nice and it wasn't too crowded. The desserts were amazing! One tip, though. If you need to make changes to reservations made via OpenTable, it is probably a bit better to call to make sure they get the message. All in all, would recommend!
