We had an amazing experience for Mother’s Day at Lolita. Mayra our server was very attentive and good with recommendations. We had delicious margs, rum based cocktails and more. The food was delicious, my partner and I had the breakfast burrito, packed with flavor and a large portion, mom had the pancakes they were literally stacked and fluffy. The desserts were amazing the flan had perfect consistency and the churros were crispy. 10/10 all around.

Everything was fabulous. Great margaritas and all the food really delicious. The tables at the back are very quiet for a crowded after-work bar, and the service attentive and fun.

We loved the energy and our menu selections were delicious! Compared to all the other restaurants we visited during our trip, we felt the servers were not "engaged" and seemed rushed. Maybe just an off night.

Lolita’s was delicious with a great atmosphere and plenty of good drink options. The chicken tacos were tasty, and the guac with chips was a perfect starter. I probably wouldn’t order the fries again since the portion was huge and very filling, but everything else was excellent. It was busy, lively, and had such a fun vibe. Definitely a great spot to visit!

Good food but we made a reservation and still ended up waiting over an hour for our table. Barely saw the waiter. We were seated downstairs and couldn't hear each other talk with the music playing so loud.

FAQs

Lolita offers a lively downstairs bar area (long bar, high‑tops) and an upstairs dining area that guests describe as quieter and better for conversation. There’s no private dining according to the owner info, but staff have accommodated groups at larger tables or high tops when possible.

Portions tend to be mid-sized and shareable, lots of small plates, tacos, and starters meant for sharing. Many guests praise flavor but several comment that some entrees and tacos are smaller than expected for the price, so plan to order a few plates to share if you’re hungry. Happy hour portions (and value) are mentioned positively by multiple guests.

For value and a more relaxed experience, go during Happy Hour (daily 4–7 PM) or an early dinner (soon after opening), guests note quieter tables and quicker service earlier in the evening. For a lively night out, pick Friday/Saturday or later evenings, but expect a louder, busier room.

Families do dine here and guests often celebrate birthdays with children, but the menu isn’t focused on kids, some guests noted only a plain quesadilla as a kid option. If you’re bringing younger children, consider an early seating or the upstairs dining area for a quieter meal, and call ahead to ask about menu flexibility for kids.

Busiest: evenings after 6 PM, happy hour (4–7 PM) and weekend nights, especially Friday and Saturday, and pre/post-theater times. Quietest: early dinner seatings (right after opening) and weekday afternoons or early happy hour times; weekend brunch can be busy but often well timed with reservations.

Generally yes for families, guests often celebrate birthdays and come with teens or groups, and staff have accommodated birthday parties and early arrivals. The space has an upstairs area that’s quieter and a downstairs bar. Accessibility details (ramps, wheelchair access) aren’t listed, so call ahead if you need specific accessible seating or accommodations.

Warm, stylish, and energetic, guests describe a beautiful, photo-ready interior with Spanish music, festive decor, and a buzzy, high-energy vibe. It’s frequently loud at peak times (happy hour and weekend evenings), so it’s great for a lively night out but not ideal if you need quiet conversation.

Yes, Lolita is a very popular spot for date night. Guests frequently praise the beautiful, photo-ready decor, lively yet intimate vibe, and creative cocktails (the Lolita Margarita is a favorite). Expect a buzzy, energetic atmosphere (it can be loud at peak times), thoughtful service, and a menu built for sharing, great for a special night out near Rockefeller Center. For a quieter table, ask for an upstairs seating or an earlier reservation.

It depends on what you want: go Friday/Saturday for the full lively nightlife vibe and late-night cocktails; choose a weekday or early weekend brunch for a calmer meal and better chances of quieter seating. For value, daily happy hour (4–7 PM) is a great pick.
