            Ambience was amazing. Intimate, cozy, elegant and lavish. A speakeasy below-ground near Bryant Park, and on Monday nights, jazz, and singers who took a night off from their Broadway shows. $10 cover charge/person on Monday nights for that. The cocktails were watered down, I didn’t try the food, which is mostly bar food. If you want to sit in the premium area to see the performers there is a $40 required order minimum per person.

            Having lived in New York City for years, I was unfamiliar with Madame George. What a great discovery in the heart of Midtown. Highly recommend attending on a Monday night when theaters are dark and this speakeasy seizes the opportunity to welcome Broadway entertainers

            This is a cool place. Just a wee door where you need to knock - then you are led downstairs. Live band were on, great vibe and great fun after a show at Broadway.

            We were there on a Monday for their "Broadway Night Off" event and it was amazing. If I lived in NYC I think I would be there every week. We reserved a table right in front of the amazingly talented performers. It was the best thing we've done in the city. 10000 out of 10!
