Service and food were phenomenal.
My new favorite place - love the decor, ambiance, vibe, tables, food is outstanding and can't wait to go back.
Staff was amazingly accommodating when we asked to be seated in a quitter table.
The food at Main and Vine is consistently excellent as is the service. We all enjoyed our meals from the scallops to the pizza. The only downside is that it was very difficult to hear our dinner partners as it was extremely crowded and th acoustics leave sometime to be desired. This will not stop me from returning.
Had a delicious lunch and great service as always. Loved the new seasonal additions/alterations to the menu. Definitely try the new beer hummus, the presentation is beautiful and my friend had the bucatini pasta with fresh asparagus and goat cheese. She wasn’t sure she would be able to eat it all but it was the perfect portion size and she cleaned her plate. We will be back!
Food was decent but overpriced. The most disconcerting thing about the meal was that during most of it an employee was furiously sweeping and brushing dirt from underneath the table right next to us and spraying down the table legs. This went on for at least 20 minutes less than a foot away from where we were trying to eat. Probably never go back
Your Manager is always very cordial. A call from him could be helpful.
Jay and Ray create a wonderful dining experience. Our waiter Richie took great care of us .Food was excellent as always. We have dined here with several friends and have always been delighted.
I have visited this restaurant once before and had a great experience. On this occasion we celebrated a friend's birthday. All of the food was excellent except two of us got the strip steak; one was medium rare and one was rare. They both came back well done, so we politely asked for two more steaks. They brought them out and they were cooked almost the exact same way. No pink whatsoever to the meat. Our server was apologetic and the manager also came and apologized. They took the steaks off our bill. I was mostly concerned about their chef and stated my comments as such, they need to do some retraining on how to properly cook a steak. We will try again in the future because the rest of our meals were great and we loved the restaurant in general. Great wine selection as well.
Kinda loud but food and service were wonderful! Look forward to being there again in the sumner when everyone else is at the shore!
This is the second time we’ve been here because our intitial experience was great. The restaurant recently changed the menu and we weren’t in love with the changes. Salmon was good - a little over cooked. Swordfish portion was so small it looked like an appetizer and my boyfriend ended up getting a second meal!! Our soup came out pretty lukewarm and then the side order of carrots were
Completely cold - which the server fixed and the manager gave us great customer service (which is rare these days). We wouldn’t need to go back, though it is a cool spot.
Ask for Lori she was excellent !
The wine was also fantastic .
Will go back again soon! Was noisy at first but when Happy Hour done, much quieter.
food was nice- although a point was made to bring the food together , the pizza came out too early.
The restaurant was beautiful. Unfortunately the hostess seated us in the bar area and near the front door. The server Rich was great , but the seating detracted is from a fine dining experience. We should have spoken up and regret not being moved to another part of the restaurant since it was so noisy we couldn’t hear one another speak. Food was good!
Very good food
Very poor service
Waitstaff was careless.
The restaurant is beautiful, the service was great. I’ve been there for dinner and really enjoyed it. This was my first time for lunch and although the food was good I and my dining companions thought it was very expensive for what it was and we wished there were more and better salad options.
The only negative was the mini size, yet quite expensive cocktail.
Food and service were good however the temperature in the restaurant was uncomfortably cool Some people had to wrap there jacket around there legs
All was good except the $6 charge for bread. This is insulting and begins the evening on a bad note. If people want bread they will ask for it, and it should be free as it is at 99% of restaurants.
Just enjoyed my first dining experience at Main and Vine. Had great food, amazing service and a beautiful ambiance. I even loved the music selection! I will absolutely be returning! Five stars from this girl!
Birthday it was great
A great find right near Villanova University. Came here after a college visit, highly recommended. Very friendly staff, great food and nice decor.
A little pricey, but the food is good & the service is great. The menu has a wide variety of options.
Food was excellent. The room was so dark it was hard to read the menu.
Great food and service. Enjoyed every aspect of the meal. If I had to give one, little complaint? It would be that the table we sat at (table for two near the bar) had very low seat height compared to the table height and it felt like we needed booster seats. But we had a great meal.
Thank you again, Main and Vine. Angelique and I always enjoy dinner and the ambiance!
the drinks were good but the food was subpar. loud, bar-scene ambiance. too pricey for low quality experience.
Excellent Saturday night out at Main & Vine. Lori, our main server was terrific as well other employees who came over to make sure we were good on water, silverware, & drinks. Our apps, dinner, & dessert were top notch. We will definitely go there again.
Valentines Day dinner was an awesome experience here.
The scallops are the best I’ve ever had!!
Great food, service and nice relaxing atmosphere.
Our server Lori was wonderful! Food nicely prepared and fresh. Wine list was great but a little on the high end in terms of prices. Restaurant is beautiful.
Loved every minute! Jackie was super--a keeper! Food fabulous!
Not fond of their fig app. Serval dishes aren’t what u expect
FIRST TIME CUSTOMER - DEFINITELY LAST TIME CUSTOMER
First time at this place. Looked like an interesting menu and good reviews. Made a reservation online. Ran a few (10ish) minutes late due to traffic and placed a courtesy call to let them know. Tons of attitude from the gal on the phone. Arrived within a few minutes to a mostly empty restaurant. Melanie - the front desk girl and phone girl with the b*tchy attitude - made us wait at the bar for 5-10 minutes (as punishment) while they found a table in the mostly empty restaurant. When we were seated, we were seated at some of the only tables that had customers and each table was filled with children that were approximately 8 years old and noisy. Again, this was probably punishment for being a couple minutes late and it was in a mostly empty restaurant. Food was fine, but not worth the aggravation. Mid-meal the owner came by and asked how things were. I told him about the front staff issues and he clearly wasn't interested in hearing about it. If you're thinking you are going to have a nice adult night out where they care about taking care of you, this is not the place for you. If you want a lot of attitude and an OK meal next to a bunch of tables with small children, well then, we are different than you. I won't be back.
Decor was beautiful, service excellent and food delicious. Will definitely go back.
I dine frequently at Main & Vine because of the delicious food and lovely atmosphere. I had a girls night out with a few friends the last time I ate there. They had not been to Main & Vine before, and they loved it! We each had the salmon entree, which was really good.
It was so cold in the restaurant that 3 of us had to wear our coats the entire meal. Our server was excellent (Tyler? or Trevor?) -- really, one of the best I have had anywhere! Professional with a great sense of humor.
The noise level was unbearable.....I may have to eat with the more senior population at 5:30 in the future, which I don't relish. I know you don't want to hear this but tablecloths and more curtains could certainly help! Absorbing that sound is critical (listen to NPR report from a Washington, DC food critic from last week)
It’s a shame the food was so poorly prepared. It’s a nice room, the servers are pleasant and professional, the menu is varied and well conceived, it should be a terrific place. But our server nicely told us the they serve salmon medium, still soft in the middle, and what came out (2 orders) was incinerated to the point of being inedible. A bad or line cook and apparently no quality control are flaws that nothing else (all of which we really liked) could make up for. Could be great for drinks, but at our table of 8, none of the cooked dishes made anyone happy.
