We are a Costa Rica Steak House Restaurant with specialty of lebanese appetizers and international food. We cook on the grill, with charcoal and firewood our majority of dishes in this way we can discover each ingredient its most juicy flavor.

The menu of La Parrilla de María Bonita is the result of years of experience, in which we managed to find the perfect steps for each of our delicious dishes to satisfy our most demanding guests. Discover our specials of lamb, national beef and the internationally certified Black Angus Steak, or live a true and authentic gastronomic experience by tasting the best wines, beers and our lebanese food with the best flavor and freshness. Excellent service and the food was outstanding. We shared the tuna carpaccio, ceviche, and octopus carpaccio amongst 4 of us followed by filet mignon, French cut lamb and chateaubriand. The only slight disappointment was that there wasn’t more octopus as it was very thinly shaved and a bit hard to taste relative to the red onion etc topping. The other 2 appies were very generous and all three were easily split amongst the 4 of us. And it was the beat chateaubriand we’ve ever had! Highly highly recommend that! The wine seemed expensive relative to the cost of the food (which is not inexpensive but so delicious it’s worth it) so we only ordered one bottle and each had a mixed drink instead which were all excellent. The pool waterfall provided excellent ambient noise and we couldn’t hear anyone’s conversations. And the smoked Negroni (done expertly at our table) was super fun to watch. We also loved the additional touches of the amuse bouche, palate cleanser and mini desert. If you’re looking to have one special night out while you’re here and have a little bit of money for a treat, I highly recommend. We spent $540 Canadian (not including tip) which is by far the most we’ve ever spent on a family meal out but it was so special and absolutely no regrets!

The food was excellent but service was very poor. We waited about 90 minutes for our entrees while other tables seated after us were finishing dinner. The staff was not attentive to ask how we were doing or offer water. Disappointed

Saw the reviews and my wife and I tried it out. The service was great, Renaldo was very nice and attentive . We ordered drinks. My wife ordered a Tequila and cranberry. Learned 10 min later they do not have cranberry! Meal came. Wife’s chicken was good. I ordered Filet. Came out cold and Bloody rare (I ordered it Med). Sent it back it came back colder! They did take it off the bill for me. I did not eat a bite of it PASS

Delicious steak, overall food was excellent. Our waiter Michael was very attentive and provided great service! Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a good steakhouse in La Fortuna.

Great food overall everything we took was extremely good. A little B is if you have problem with hot temperatures there is no air conditioning it is a covered outside dinner. But service is great and food delicious.

We went to Maria Bonita to celebrate our friends 50th birthday and we could not have chosen a better restaurant! Every appetizer was terrific and the steaks were some of the best we’ve ever had. Alonso was a top notch server and even provided us with some delicious aperitivo’s after dinner. Great wine and cocktails too - this is a can’t miss in La Fortuna!
