    Service (Shelby) and food were great. Only downside, and it is such an easy fix, was total lack of communication via social media, website and front of house. OpenTable was taking reservations but phone recording and website showed that they were not taking reservations during nights that there are shows at the neighboring Live Oak Pavilion. After a call to the hostess stand, I was told that they had changed that policy and were taking reservations. Upon being seated, we were handed a limited "event night" menu, which was not mentioned anywhere, by anybody. Come on guys, it's not that hard to update your media. Shame on management and ownership.

    Staff was wonderful. Food was delicious. Please know if you are going to a concert afterwards, they have limited menu on those nights.

    Pre-concert dinner beware! We selected this restaurant based on menu and proximity to the concert venue. Only to be greeted with a MUCH smaller concert menu that isn’t on their website nor mentioned when making reservations. Missing were things like smash burger, most of their flatbreads (only 1 avail), Cobb salad, Brussel sprouts and more. I got the dill pickle sandwich, which was fine. But if you are going to copy a restaurant you need to do it better. My husband got the wings which he said tasted like they had been made yesterday. Service was good considering the obvious lack of staff. Next concert we will go elsewhere.

    We enjoyed our early dinner at Marina Grill. The grouper sandwich was incredible and the shrimp tacos were very tasty -- not too spicy. The decor and atmosphere are very welcoming. Our server Yaz was excellent.

    You pay for the view of the river and the parking. The service was mediocre and the food just the same. I asked what the catch of the day was, which is featured as a “chef speciality” on the menu, only to be told there is no catch. The server literally said, “we have some grouper in the back we can blacken, add two sides and call it a meal”. Not very impressive considering this a coastal city in the height of season and that’s what they have to offer…at a premium price! If you want to park free and watch the sunset this is your spot. If you want fresh local seafood there are better options.
