Quirky restaurant, open kitchen, small seating area, with more tables in the basement. Limited menu, but food was very good, we both cleared our plates and the price for two or three courses is very reasonable. Service was excellent and the house white, a French Colombard Sauvignon is rather nice.

This is a little hidden gem. Food was amazing and great value. We will definitely be returning.

The restaurant seating area was in the cellar which was cold and smelt of damp. The starters were ok and the service good but the main course was very disappointing . I was asked if it was ok if the venison was cooked rare but when it arrived it was over done and it was inedible . It was so tough I couldn't chew it. The black pudding it came with had been incinerated to an inch of its life and that also was inedible. The prices that are charged are not in line with the quality of the food. We will not be going again .

Really lovely little french restaurant with a cosy bistro feel. Small but excellent menu which is changed regularly. Great staff, just the right amount of attention. Will definitely return

Thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic meal. I visited the restaurant with my three daughters we had different meals and all three would be happy to visit the market kitchen again. I have already recommended the place to a number of my friends.
