Just a block away from the Hudson River Waterfront, a lively restaurant and bar called MaxwellÕs Tavern nestles strategically in Hoboken city. The ambience of the restaurant is friendly and laidback. It is one of the oldest restaurants in the neighborhood and has been operating since 1940s. In the 1970s, the restaurant expanded its functionality and started featuring the local musicians. Now, it is a well-known venue for rock musicians in the tri-state area. MaxwellÕs Tavern offers the patrons an animated atmosphere where they can enjoy the food while listening to music. The diners can share the menu or order separate meals. An eclectic cuisine makes up the menu. Brunch and dinner is served. The customers can order burgers, sandwiches, risotto, salads, pizzas, boneless chicken, roasted chicken and sausages. MaxwellÕs Tavern also has private sunrooms with full service bars where you can organize parties, conferences and shows.
