It wasn't very busy for lunch but the service was average, in fact one member of the party ordered a coffee when she arrived and it took almost 30 minutes to arrive. When it arrived it was just warm so probably had been sitting around for a while before serving. I come to the Rowers quite often and usually have a very good experience but this time that wasn't the case. I have visited 3 times in December and each time the service and food was very good and on two occasions it was busier than on 1 January.

Great service, we sat outside in the children's area and the noise level was good. Meals arrived promptly and tasted great.
