Nice place relaxing food was tasty
Great place, great food, great shisha, great vibe. Impressed as soon as we walked in. Service was quick and the food was amazing. We had the lunch time special which will have you a lot of choices. Definitely coming back.
Worst service ever. Waiter didnt let us put together two of the VERY small tables upstairs in the shisha lounge even though there was three of us. Secondly when we went downstairs to eat the waitress took almost 15mins to see us and she went to a table that came after us first! When we got up to leave she gave us dirty looks. Absolutely the worst place and I'm glad I didnt spend my money here. Awful!
I would give this place (-5) stars if Google would allow me. I read on their website that the chef had put thought and care into the menu and decided to give it a try. My friend wanted shisha so we ended up on the top floor/zoo. Several men were walking around putting coals on shisha pots, we tried to place an order with him. Which was a mistake. He wrote nothing down and forgot half the order! My friends food and main arrived before my drink! It turned out he had forgotten to place the order for my drink or main. So we waited. 20 more minutes before my first drink even arrived, it came after my rushed main which was meant to be a mussaka but was steeped in more oil than any other ingredient. The aubergine starter dip was very good with bread. Other than this one thing everything was terrible and the service was by far the worst thing I have ever experienced. I ordered another glass of wine, another 20 minutes later it still hadn't arrived. I asked a man walking hy with coal about my drink, he said it wasn't his job but he would find out where my drink was?? When it arrived, the guy said it wasn't his fault because it came from downstairs and they didnt bring it...the saga continued. Two of us were seated at a booth for four. They seated 4 more people next to us, eventually we had so little space, we just paid the bill and left. I always add service when it's not included in the bill. Today was so terrible, I felt like they owed me money! Never again!!!
Fantastic service and delicious food.
Variety of choices in Eftar menu for Ramadan
we dined late sunday lunch and filled the table with small meze plates, hot cold and some lamb chops for my son. all was delicious, full of flavour and we shall be back!
great customer service and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend
Was lovely went for my birthday dinner with the girls ,nice food ,great service and looking foward to going again soon .
Went for lunch special menu. Nothing special about the wrap but it was tasty enough and good value for £5.99 inc soft drink and chips. Waiter wasn't specially attentive or welcoming even though it was only us and another couple, he couldn't care if we were there or not. He wasn't really friendly but not unpleasant... So good enough for a cheap light lunch.
This restaurant couldnt handle the 5 tables booked in. They cared more about their deliveroo orders than they did the people who were seated. Rude waitress. And to top it off their was a hair mixed up in the rice.
I'm a local to the area and will never be attending this restaurant again!
Slow service, nothing special food... The serving on the plate... The fries should be skin on potatoes but it was just mirelit....etc. I wouldn't want to go back ever.
We have eaten here on a number of occasions, twice just the two of us, and twice as a large family group. The food has always lived up to expectations and the service has been good. The decor and ambiance are very pleasant, and the pricing presents good value.
Nice place , we went early evening and it was quiet but filling up as we left at 7pm .
Very loud atmosphere, bland food, head waiter very Rude .
The restaurant is ideally positioned for a late meal following the evening performance at the Hampstead Theatre when all the other restaurants are shut. The grilled lamb chops are particularly tasty.
Thanks very much to Mia Staff for making my birthday celebration really special! :-)
Can’t believe a Mediterranean restaurant with no olives. Never heard of it
Heard wonderful things about the food, but found it mediocre, nothing to rave about. The restaurant was empty, but the Hookah bar upstairs sounded busy...full of young adults. Place looks classy but food and service are average. Toilets were very dirty.
A good place for a pre-theatre Lebanese meze. The food is always tasty and good value for money. The chicken wings are always very good as are the pumpkin kibbah.
They improved the service and food the second time I came around.
1. Over charged for food by £20. If we didn’t check bill we wouldn’t have got money back.
2. Poor potion sizes.
3. No servings of sauces. Had to beg for them several times and wait around for them until they were served.
4. Dinning area like a reception area. Not a vibrant restaurant at all. Just a small seating area with limited space.
Don’t go here for food. Poor quality food and over priced.
Lovely food, authentic and tasty. Bit expensive and service was ok, asked for pickles (with shawarma) and they said that would cost extra..bit strange as most other places give it as per normal. Upstairs is semi loud Shisha bar (and smokey). Downstairs more suited to a quieter meal.
The decor was nice, the customer service was very poor as the waiter was rude, it was not busy at all. In terms of food, it was ok but others didn't enjoy it much and pricy food. Overall I don't think I will be coming back and I would not recommend to a friend as I expected a better service from the staff.
Poor service resulted in starters and mains being produced at the same time, despite actually confirming they came as separate courses.
The homemade soujouk had a large piece of bone in one of the sausages. Unfortunately this was in the second sausage out of the bowl and I didn’t dare eat anymore.
The moussaka was lacking in flavour and swimming in oil. The rice that it was served with was not spicy as described however it was heavily flavoured with butter.
Despite raising a complaint against the food - the staff did nothing about it and did not apologise.
We had planned to go for shisha upstairs but the initial impression was seriously offputting so we left.
Perfect pre-theatre supper - attentive service , delicious food & sensible prices . Would recommend & go back
Went here for my birthday. First impressions were nice decoration and the floor above obviously had good nightlife and shisha however the restaurant was very quiet. We were the only booking. The food was lovely. Not the best Lebanese I have had but good value and tasty. Hummus was good and good size portion however far too much bread for me. My friend had one of the fancy milkshake and she really liked it. The only thing I would say about the service is that it took a very long time for anyone to come and see us despite the restaurant being empty and a few staff were around. They could’ve been more attentive. My other friend was also disappointed that some items on the menu she had ordeeed were not actually available til next week therefore it was silly having them on the menu. The ambience would’ve been great had it have been more busy
Beautiful decor and ambience . Fab service, lovely food. Will be back for Iftar!
It was a lunch for mother, daughter and 18 month old grandson, before going on to a birthday party. The waiters went downstairs to help with the buggy and we were treated with kindness from then on. The staff were helpful and friendly. They brought a highchair for the toddler and later pencils and colouring sheets. They even wanted to play with him when he had a run around! We felt very at home.
The food was good Lebanese, and we have a Middle East background and know good Arab food. The falafel were excellent, also the houmus, dolma, pastry pockets and tabouleh. The kibbeh ok, but a little dry and loose, but that could be for my taste.
We had assorted starters, 5 or 6, and the price, with bread, a glass of wine, coke and excellent Arabic coffee was reasonable. They even came with complementary Oreos and then small baclava on a little silver tray for the child.
The service was very bad. The restaurant added additional items on my receipt, which I didn’t evan order. I am very disappointed.
Very good food
Kind waitress and very easy to book with opentable
The restaurant itself was lacking in any atmosphere. The music was so loud that you could not even speak to the person sitting next to you. There was a wine list, but they did not have most of the wines on the menu, in fact they only had one type of red wine - which was the most expensive one listed.
Firstly this was not at all as the original Mia longue. When we walkd into the restaurant after sitting in traffic for over an hour we we're dissappointed for sure. There were far to many tables cramped in. I couldnt even put my coat on my chair as the person behinds seat was right up against mine. There was a violinist but the music was soo loud we couldnt talk. We asked one of the staff members if the volume could be reduced to whoch she replied 'i cant promise' and walkd off. The food was of flight food standard. Very bland and our swarama wraps were litterily empty. We both had to ask for garlic sauce 3 times and the answer we were given was its in the wrap. We had to actually tell the staff we would like it for our chips. Only then we got it. Only nice thing was my mocktail drink whoch was full of ice. Not going back. Waste of our anniversary dinner.
Lovely ambience and friendly staff, but the food is mediocre. I would not go there again,
It was okay not bad. Food ok. Shisha ok. Ok service
Went to Mia for a pre-theatre meal and it was excellent. They have a great range of hoummus with different toppings. A great range of hot and cold mezes, salads and main/grill dishes. The staff were very friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. I am definitely planning on returning!
We had a lovely time at Mia for a celebratory dinner for my nephews 20th Birthday. They were very efficient. The service took average time. and the food was fabulous (and I would know as I've eaten at many Lebanese restaurants). They were accommodating and good fun when it came to bringing the cake out. Ahmed, the manager was very professional and looked after us very well. I have heard that they are very busy in the terrace for the shishas, but we were extremely happy with the service in the dinning room downstairs. Would happily recommend it to anyone.
The food was quite nice but the restaurant was empty and the service was terrible - the waitress said it was her first day but she should have been better trained - she couldn't answer any of our questions about the food or drink, kept coming back to check she had understood what we had asked for and bought us the wrong food, not what we had ordered. The bar upstairs was more lively but we had not gone there for this.
I got the wrong dish (which wasn't a problem in itself but after querying the bill I was left to wait 10-15 minutes while the waitress sorted it out with the manager). The waitress was very polite about it but it was still a long time to wait for the correct bill. We were given an extra £1 off in the end which was a nice gesture. Good food though and good ambiance.
simply horrible staff and customer service... very rude!!
The restaurant was nice. The service was really bad, we waited a while to get served in a restaurant with less than 10 tables. The drinks were good but the food got to us cold. We told both the manager and our waitress about this and one of them offered to warm the food up in a microwave which we refused. When the bill came we only offered to pay for what we ate and the manager refused, we had about 3 plates that were untouched. In the end we paid for what we ate and the manager threatened us as we left. I don’t recommend this place at all
