Let me start by saying the people and service at Milltown were great. If you're going to get a beer, the selection is great. But based on the chicken and grilled cheese sandwiches, soup and deviled eggs my family ate, I would not recommend going for the food. It was just not good. Milltown would be a good place for a beer, some snacks and the game, but not for a meal based on our experience.

Chose Mill Town for a casual get together with friends - sort of a Men's night out. It was a good choice because they have a long and interesting selection of beers on tab and by the bottle. That was not disappointing. The food is a bar menu and I did not think it was special, but it was good with the beer. Mill Town is not a fancy place, but great for a casual meal.

I would recommend this place for adult beverages rather than food. If Milltown’s food genre is known as gastropub, their food is quite disappointing. It was, at most, meh. The waiter had his moments when he paid attention to us and when he didn’t pay attention to us. However, their beer list is pretty extensive, and they couldn’t update it to reflect the end of October (and we went in the middle of November).

Horrible experience. The menu being served was not as advertised on their website. The atmosphere was that of a dive. The food was bland. The servers were dressed sloppily; one in particular looked like he hadn't showered (greasy hair, holes in t-shirt). Food was overpriced. Just terrible. Will never EVER return. This was supposed to be for our anniversary.

Food and service were great! It was extremely loud - almost to a point we couldn't talk to one another at our table. And it was not just the people outside for the music - which I understand.

Huge beer selection; a limited menu with numerous "comfort food" choices and German specialties. I think the limited menu is a real plus. Small restaurants with huge menus are likely to use pre-prepared food that they thaw out and/or heat up. We have the sausage sandwich on retzel roll and the mussels. Both were outstanding and a great value. The staff was energetic, prompot, and sensitive to the needs of customers. We would go there again. One negative is parking is not convenient. The "parking across the street" and the city parking lots actually can be quite a hike away. There is extremely limited on-street parking.

Really enjoyed our night out on the patio. Wide selection of beer on tap and in bottles. Lots of vegetarian options between the bar, Oktoberfest and regular menus.

Impressive variety of beers both on tap and bottled. Fresh, well-cooked food at a reasonable price. And lots of it for the price. Nice outdoor terrace. Relaxed and kid friendly.
