If you’re looking for authentic, homemade Ukrainian🇺🇦 comfort food in LA, SAVE this spot @mompleasela ✨ Here is everything we loved: 🥣 Borscht- So unique topped with fresh sour cream. 🥔 Cutlet with Mashed Potatoes- Savory and super smooth. 🥟 Varenyky with Cabbage- My top recommendation! (A must try if you’re looking for vegetarian options) 🥞 Syrnyky with Berry Sauce & Custard- One of the best syrnyky I’ve ever had. Rich cheese flavor with the sweet toppings 🍰 Napoleon cake- The perfect sweet treat! 📍Mom, Please 13151 Fountain Park Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90094 Ukrainian comfort food•neighborhood gem•Playa Vista #LAfood #momplease l LA

A Ukrainian restaurant in Los Angeles that feels like stepping straight into someone’s home kitchen. Everything here is deeply comforting and authentic, from the first bite to the last. The honey cake is rich, layered, and unforgettable. The cheesecake is just as good, soft and perfectly balanced, both are absolute must-orders. For something savory, the meatballs with mashed potatoes are my favorite. Especially when paired with their mushroom sauce, it’s warm, hearty, and so satisfying. If you love discovering hidden international spots like this, you need to try it. Who would you bring here? 📍Mom, Please Ukrainian food, Playa Vista 13151 Fountain Park Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90094 #losangeles #restaurant #uniquerestaurant #thingstodo #lafood

I was so excited to try this place! I had a reservation, but when I arrived, they didn’t have a table ready and hadn’t even read the notes attached to it. The food took a while to come out, but that was okay. The food itself was really good! However, I did think it was a little expensive considering we weren’t waited on and had to place our order at the front.

We really enjoyed our first experience trying Ukrainian food. The pierogies and cottage cheese pancakes were delicious. The tea is served on a tray with round cookies, jam and a caramel. We also enjoyed the smoked salmon on top of potato pancakes. Highly recommend.

We came here for Mother’s Day and it took an hour to get the food for the table, then they gave everyone their meal but mine. I asked about my food and they continued to tell me it was coming without actually checking. 90 mins after I ordered when my family was almost done eating I finally got upset and someone checked for me and somehow they’d missed my food. They brought me my food about ten minutes after that but everyone else was done and it made the experience pretty awful.
