    Myself and the 12 people I invited to Montezumas Capalaba, for my Husband's 30th birthday, Sunday just gone, were really disappointed with the poor customer service and bland, tasteless foods. Disappointed enough that none of us will be returning ever again. The only thing everyone enjoyed were the cocktails & drinks. The beef was dry and unseasoned. The nacho chips were bland (not salty as i remember them to be). The Guacamole was tasteless. Very let down because we all love our Mexican food and was extremely underwhelmed by the food. Ontop of that, We were only told once everyone got to the restaurant, that we HAD to order bottomless packages and couldn't order under the normal menu, which is just ridiculous and needs to be changed asap! We did not get our money's worth of the $35 & $69 All-You-Can-Eat Food & drinks packages! We also tried to order two simple bottles of corona to drink whilst we waited for cocktails and food, but were told that was impossible because we had drinks coming. Just ridiculous. The customer service felt like we were rushed to order and eat then get out. Needless to say, sadly you have lost 13 great customers. Things need to be addressed & changed to better your restaurant quality and performance because that experience was very poor and unsatisfactory. Substandard at it's best.

    Terrible terrible experience. Food was absolutely awful. Gone are the Montezumas days at Capalaba. Where the plates came out too hot to touch as they just came out of the oven. The cheese was melted to the plate and the food so hot and fresh. Ordered the combination and it came out on three different plates, food was cold and almost inedible. Had I not been hungry, I wouldn’t have eaten it at all. Like I said, Montezumas as I have known it for 20 years is well and truly gone from Capalaba. Truly disappointing given the sentiment to why we were there i the first place. I can however compliment one of our lovely staff looking after us. She was super lovely given the circumstances.

    The staff was friendly and welcoming. Helpful with explaining the menu. Although there were a couple of big groups that were there before us, we did not have to wait too long for our food to arrive. Food was great.
