This newly redesigned terrace features a champagne bar and a lounge area curated by renowned design house, Roche Bobois, with design blending chic Asian touches with a Mediterranean vibe. Die Rooftoplocation ist super, der Blick über München in der Abenddämmerung sehenswert. Grundsätzlich ist die Bar stets ausgebucht, im Entrée sollte man seine Reservierung am Besten als Screenshot, Ausdruck etc. vorliegen haben (als unmissverständlichen Reservierungsbeleg), da es mir scheint, als würde man bei starker Ausbuchung das Publikum nochmal selektieren wollen und spontan für VIP-Gäste Plätze freihalten. Die Getränke sind meines Erachtens maßlos überteuert und von mäßiger Qualität. Die Preise lassen höchstens in Bezug auf die Location und das aufmerksame Servicepersonal angebracht. Das Publikum ist gemischt, die Münchner Schickeria ist anzutreffen, genauso die typischen Möchtegerns. Grundsätzlich würde ich die Atmosphäre daher als leicht snobistisch aber dennoch gelassen und unterhaltsam beschreiben.

Stunning views (from one side of the building). Food was good, but not great. 50€ for one overcooked steak was a little disappointing. Drinks were great and the complimentary blanket to keep warm was a nice touch.

The service was extremely bad. Staff members are not trained at all. The worst experience at a Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
