Mythos Taverna brings you on a trip to Greece & the islands, serving authentic dishes from across the region in beautiful Mediterranean surroundings.

Located in the famous Arcadian, just outside the Hippodrome with a beautiful heated terrace on theatre square, Mythos brings a true flavour of Greece to Birmingham.

Serving dishes such as marinated souvlaki grilled over our traditional Greek charcoal & a range of ‘mezze’ dishes such as hummus and the famous Greek feta salad along with a range of rose and syrup soaked pastries to finish.

Our wine selection has been sourced from all over Greece and we have a range of Greek beers and spirits. Be sure to visit Mythos for a true Greek experience & a taste of true Greek Hospitality.

  • Bottomless Mediterranean Mezze Brunch - £35

    Multiple dates available
    As a Mezze style, your plates will be served as and when they’re ready. Guests can have only one drink each on the table at the time. It will be replaced once it has been finished. Last orders will be 15 minutes before the end of your chosen time slot. All bookings require a £15 deposit to secure the booking. Deposits are fully redeemable against the total bill. Deposits will be forfeited should you decide to cancel your booking later than 48 hours prior to the reservation. Full payment in some instances may be required one week prior to the event. Please discuss this with management at the time of the booking.

    Just a bit too compact and cosy for my liking, wobbly tables poor drinks. Over priced tapas and portion sizes, also thought the selection choices on the menu were abit ridiculously expensive for what there was to choose especially when they are competing next door to another Greek takeaway who have a reasonable priced menu. Just feel this place could be better as it would get the foothold and walk ins from the theatre.

    was extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this bottomless brunch. From the very start, things went downhill. First, two cocktails were literally ‘tippexed’ out on the menu. Then, when it came to the food, many items had “run out.” However, when I spoke to the general manager, Raphael, he claimed he could make one of the dishes they had supposedly run out of. How does that even make sense? It was clear he had no intention of helping, and his attitude was dismissive at best. After returning from my complaint, I spoke briefly with the table next to me, only to find out they were having similar issues. What happened next left me completely shocked. Raphael, the manager, came over aggressively, threatening me for simply talking to other customers about the poor service. His behavior was so hostile that it felt like he was on the verge of getting physical. We ended up having a heated argument in the middle of the restaurant, with almost every table around us complaining as well. As if the service wasn’t bad enough, the food was absolutely disgusting. It was either completely undercooked or so overcooked it was inedible – there was no middle ground. All in all, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I would strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs. Awful service, terrible food, and a hostile manager who clearly doesn't care about customer satisfaction.

    Overall we had a really good time! The food was delicious, all the waiters were lovely and very helpful, and although I only indicated we were there for a birthday but did not request anything special - my friend was even more pleasantly surprised to be brought a scoop of ice cream with a candle! (and so was I) We did wait a fairly long time for all of our food and refill drinks (went there for a Bottomless Brunch) to get on the table, but it was quite busy on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The only negative point for us was the music - it was just way too loud and at times it made it very difficult - if not impossible, to hear each other and hear what the waiting staff were telling us. I had specifically requested yo be in a quieter part of the restaurant due to hearing issues, and perhaps it was the quietest corner, but it still missed the mark on that one.

    We have eaten at Mythos a number of times, but this was the first time we have done the bottomless brunch. The food was outstanding and good value for money. The music was very loud and not very Greek, but I guess this is the bottomless brunch target market.

    Wow, first time here and everything was amazing, the food delicious, staff attentive and ambiance and background music perfect. We later went into the conservatory for more drinks. We will definitely be back again. Highly recommend to all .

    We went for my daughters birthday the food was fabulous. Very good value for money staff we very helpful . Would recommend this restaurant it was fabulous

    This is our second visit to Mythos and the food and service has been very good on each occasion. My only complaint is the price of drinks - £5.45 for a bottle of Still water and the cheapest red wine was over £26. But we enjoyed our meal and would go again.
