Nami is one of the finest authentic Japanese restaurants in Toronto, serving traditional Japanese cuisine in a simple, modern setting. The robata bar serves grilled meat, vegetables and fresh seafood made-to-order however you want. Or guests can sit at the sushi bar for a traditional yet unique dining experience. The most popular options on the menu at Nami include the grilled yellowtail neck, black cod, vegetarian sushi and the beef sashimi. A full bar is available with a variety of drinks to go along with your meal.

Kimono-clad servers wait on customers in the main dining area, private booths as well as the private Tatami room with rice paper screened doors.

Used to dine here frequently when I was working back in the early 90’s. Absolutely great food same as before!

I had one of the sushi dinners. Every morsel was fresh and delicious! Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. I totally recommend this restaurant!

Good authentic Japanese food with high end options like Wagyu beef. Servers are dressed in Japanese outfits. Ours was sweet but was new to English. It was a bit too noisy for us & yet we were in what they called a "quiet booth". The booths give you a bit more privacy. I hate to think how noisy it might have been if we'd been in the regular open area. It was Wednesday night 7pm & the place was packed! Also they gave our daughter a free birthday green tea ice cream with a candle. Very nice. I only wish they do Aburi sushi options like Miku. They've been in Toronto for decades. Excellent service. Thank you for a lovely evening!

The waitress really rushed us on ordering our food. We would have one question about something on the menu and she would ask us to order our dinner when we weren’t ready. The food was ok - not as good as Miku. Probably would not go back again, but happy I tried.

This was our second time there for dinner . We used to Yamato for normally dinner on weekends . Its a little bit pricey, but taste was good as last time. My husband likes the chicken teriyaki so much , strong recommend it!
