I’d call this place a tourist trap. It just wasn’t good food. The crab cake was good but on a bed of wilted old lettuce. The pecan crusted redfish was dry to the bone and we picked out what fish we could. The New Orleans sampler was what I’d expect at a church bazaar. Nice touch they did have complimentary bread pudding for birthday dessert that was decent. Drinks were overpriced. We wanted to like this but in hindsight I would have rather hit a street vendor for 1/5 of the cost and likely better food.

I’m not a critical person by nature but felt compelled to leave a review. The vibe was very nice, we sat in the open space in the back. It was quiet and cozy. Our service was lacking in that empty glasses and place settings not being utilized were not removed. The food was poor quality and disappointing. I would not recommend to a friend.

the staff spent a lot of time chatting with their coworkers and as a result forgot to serve our table for 20 minutes. though an apology was given it did not give us the time we lost. the four samples of the food was more than substantial, but the food was not palatable for the most part, the ingredients did not standout. A big disappointment as I had expected much more.

Had reservations. We were seated and then waited 10-15 minutes for a sever to acknowledge our existence. The server that checked on us actually wasn’t even our assigned server but stepped in and immediately started service for us. Server was great! His hospitality and service is the only thing that saved the evening from being a complete 1- 2 star rating. Food was fair to mediocre. Food temp was lukewarm warm. Appetizers seemed to come out of freezer aisle at grocery store. Crabcakes entree were only 2 cakes but extremely large but No flavor at all. Would not return.

VERY slow service, food average. Waitress offered to replace my dining partner's entree when it wasn't what she wanted, but it took 25 minutes for her entree to come. Maybe just a mistake, but they put my entree on the bill twice. Don't go here if you are looking for decent wine with dinner.

We chose this place to celebrate our anniversary and were delighted beyond expectations. From the courtyard ambiance to the professionalism of our waiter along with the absolute excellence of the food, we found ourselves melting into the bliss of being able to share this moment together. And we weren't alone! Our timing was perfect. A jovial ghost tour group was passing through, and the tour leader shared a photo with us of what appeared to be an other-worldly mist standing on a staircase just behind where we were sitting! It was taken by a similarly enthralled couple dining here at our table awhile back. I can see why they might like to hang out here. New Orleans Creole Cookery definitely made our Anniversary!
