Dosa and Idli

One of the must have in a south Indian restaurant! Paper thin pan cakes made of fermented lentil and rice mixture with various options as fillings is great to start with - Dosa: A traditional paper thin south Indian pan cake made from rice and lentil flour accompanied with Sambar, coconut chutney and beetroot pachadi. Masala – Farm fresh potato mashed with chopped onion and flavoured with curry leaves, fried mustard seeds and south Indian spices. Sambar – Fresh vegetable cooked with yellow lentil and south Indian spices with asafoetida. Idli: 4 pieces Puffy rice cake, steam cooked with sambar and coconut chutney.
