Oceanaire Seafood Room - Dallas
Food is good. Service could be better. The bar is also nice if you are alone.
Awesome. We love this place - an all time best. Underrated with fantastic food and service.
The valet parking is expensive
Excellent meal, well prepared, generous proportions and excellent service.
Excellent quality seafood!!!!!!
Great food, everyone had a form of lobster with shrimp. Lobster Mac n Cheese always satisfying. Service was great too.
Our server was excellent, very attentive and lovely. My daughter and I enjoyed our dining experience that much more because of our server's excellent customer service.
It was a wonderful restaurant with great seafood!
Although the meal was good, the extremely overpriced menu is inconsistent with what I one is served.
I was alone and there was no room at the bar - It was Oyster night. Oh well. I dined on lobster and martinis - both excellent.
Love the atmosphere at Oceanaire. Service is friendly, food is delicious, and it’s a happy place.
I was still eating the salad when the meal arrived. Then, I placed the salad to the side and was still eating it when the waitress took it away. Then, the service was awful and we were waiting quite a bit. The waitress was busy on waiting another large table.
One of favorites. We’ll be back.
Everything was perfect. My sister celebrated her birthday in style! Food was great! Escargot, Oysters, shrimp and Alaska King Crab Legs ... as good as those I've eaten in Anchorage. Service was impeccable. It always is attentive and friendly but not intrusive.
Over priced for what you get. Still, food was pretty good.
Hands down was the best birthday dinner I have had in years. The food was beyond excellent and the service was top notch. We were shown nothing but stellar hospitality by all from the chefs’ and management to food runners, bartenders and servers and of course, Kaitlyn, our main server was knowledgeable and an overall delight. Bravo!
I only dinged them a star on ambiance because I was at the Seattle location several times before they were bought out and closed. It was like being on an ocean liner in a movie... The restaurant is more streamlined now, but I miss that surrealistic, incredible atmosphere. Never been anywhere like that since. However the food here was just as good, and the staff ARE excellent! I love the Oceanaire.
This was our first group dinner - overall a very enjoyable evening- we has great wine, good food and good company at our table. The service was excellent. The noise was too much but cannot be helped (we normally like to dine upstairs. Pls invite us to any additional groups as it s a chance to meet new people and enjoy one of our favorite restaurants
Great place to eat. Service was wonderful. Waiter was very informative
Anthony and his crew were amazingly attentive but yet not hovering or awkward. It is a fine balance, and this team had it. They were extremely cognizant of some food sensitivities which took care of the issue without undue focus or concern. The crab cake appetizers were easy to share (you get one per order but we ordered 3 for 6 people). All entrees and sides were cooked to order and the peanut butter pie was enormous and another good share. The ambiance for a business meeting of new associates was perfect; we were able to talk and get to know one another and since business was the primary purpose, this choice was great!
Our waiter (Andrew) did an excellent job. Really went above and beyond to help us celebrate a special birthday. Food (as always) was great!
Food was incredible. We had a server who seemed to feel like we didn’t belong there. Name started with M, had a foreign accident. He treated the servers assistant/bus man (Antonio) like a dog. We tipped Antonio privately because He made our experience well enough to return. He works hard and makes sure All the customers are happy, regardless of class. He should be acknowledged.
We had amazing service from our waiter Mack. Would highly recommend requesting Mack for anyone attending Oceanaire.
Two things: The busser came by and reached across the table to get the two unused settings WHILE we were ordering. The staff knew the people sitting in the booth behind us, so it was a hangout place. Very unprofessional and put a damper on our dinner.
Cost was a little high compared to other places
Food was wonderful although a bit pricey
Great shrimp cocktail...cocktail sauce is amazing with fresh shredded horseradish
Took party of 8 which ballooned to 10 and no issues getting bigger table and moving. Staff just took it in stride!!
The food was delicious, and the wait staff were very helpful in helping me surprise my wife with a delicious dessert to celebrate a special occasion!
Birthday dinner. Fried lobster was excellent
Came especially for the lump crab dish and it didn’t disappoint. By comparison I was in Maryland last month and rent the “state best “.lump crab cake and wanted to share the experience with a friend. The service was excellent and the menu had many outstanding choices. Great place for a fine meal!
A great place for seafood and excellent wine and cocktails. Highly recommend this place.
Had the grilled sea bass. The topping sauce was fair at best. Not worth the $52.00 price. The asparagus was good. The crab cake appetizer was way too soft and mushy for my liking. Prefer a more firmer cake. The calamari was fair on the flavor scale. The key lime dessert was very light, good and plentiful. Most key lime desserts are pungent but this was on the lighter side of the lime flavor.
I knew when I heard they had over 500 reservations for Valentines Day, that this place should be great. We were not disappointed. We were cheerfully greeted when we entered and seated. The wait staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was fantastic and delicious.
We will come back.
Small portions and overpriced. Service at the bar was terrible. $15 glass of wine was only 1/2 portion. I guess they want you to keep buying more.
Swordfish was ordered medium and cooked well done. Crudo Duo for $40 was basic tuna sashimi appetizer with sauce that was too sweet - total rip off.
Because everything you order including a basic beer ($9) beer, espresso ($9) and dessert ($11) is overpriced, the bill racks up in a big way. I would recommend any other seafood place first
The. Best sea food around
All was perfect
Everything was great - as always! It's our go to spot for girl's night out and we always love it! Bryson was a funny and attentive waiter!
Service was great! Food was meh. The coconut hot pot was way too sweet, the signature chef tuna dish had little flavor. No wows in the food but we had a wonderful waitress.
Food and bar were outstanding.
Server was not up to par for a restaurant of this quality. We expected a better course pace, check ups, and table clearance.
For the actual price the portions are small, our server failed at doing his job. I waited 45 minutes for my drink and he checked on us once in the 2 hours we spent there. Maybe because we looked like a young couple but never judge a book by its cover, I am normally a 50% tipper but he lost out on that. Overall experience I will never go back
