Oceanaire in the Houston Galleria has definitely become our favorite restaurant ... period!

Outstanding service amazing food

Absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. Food was amazing, waiters were super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and options.

Simply exquisite. The food, servers, cook, ambiance was extraordinary..

Food was good, however, because it was so cold in the restaurant it was very hard to enjoy it. No manager came around to ask us how our food was and the maitre d' was covered in jackets and a sweater. Clearly they knew it was too cold and did not do anything about it

Great overall experience dining at the Oceanaire. Crab cakes were absolutely delicious. Waiter was pleasant as well.

Well first it was cold as hell, the couple next to us asked me did I think it was cold. So cold that the when the food came out 10 min later I had to get it boxed up. Lobster mac and cheese really wasn't seasoned enough, the fish I ordered had absolutely no seasoning on it. The penot noir was the best part of the evening.

Greatest eatery ever. Food was perfect, service was superb.

It was my third visit after a little over 4 years and It has changed a lot this place. Service was perfect as always. But not joke when someone told us that it’s like eating from KFC. We ordered two appetizers... crab cake ( good but cold) at least heat it yo enough in the microwave before serve. Then fried calamari and was disgusting I could not taste the calamari everything else (lemon n xxx) was fried too. Way too breaded and not seasoned. You have to rely on the sauces. Our main dishes were crab legs ( very good ) and chicken fried lobster with cheese grids. Well, this last one was another disaster... too breaded no seasoning and grids were just not the best. We also got lobster Mac and cheese and this probably was the worst... it looks like they got it from the blue Kraft box. We had plenty to take back home and rather leave it there! We have tried the same dishes in other places and Oceanaire it’s now off our list... the place is still pretty, location is great ñ, nice detail getting my bf name in the menu. But, I won’t recommend it again! Ambience has changed too since my last visit. But perhaps it’s bc of covid.

excellent atmosphere , quiet environment , professional waiters , quality food/menu with superb service.

We had an issue that set us back a few minutes so we needed to reschedule our reservation. They did it with ease. We greeted and seated immediately. The customer service was amazing. Our waitress was very informative and knowledgeable of the menu/specials. She was nice enough to take a pic of us as well as return several times for small requests. The drinks had a weird taste from the ice so we switched our drinks several times. The food was amazing and fit the descriptions given. Overall great experience. I’d definitely return again.

Went on a double date with our friends! We did a family style feast instead of individually entrees! Our waiter was so awesome with setting it up for us! Forgot his name, but he was so great!

The food is delicious ! The filet is phenomenal and the truffled mashed potatoes and green beans delicious! The baked Alaska dessert is definitely cool to look at but the taste is like blue bell ice cream and cold cake . It took forever to get our waiter to come to our table when we wanted to order dessert . It was busy but not crazy I’m not sure what that was about but overall it was delicious and I’ll be back.

I would definitely recommend The Oceanaire Seafood restaurant for a special occasion. I had my birthday celebration there and it was delicious. Great service and delicious food!

My wife and I stayed at the Westin Galleria and they recommended Ocean for seafood. We had a great French Chardonnay with their Panamanian Covid. Waiter was informative and great. It was quiet, clean and practiced proper social distancing. Great adult date night. We arrived at 8pm and the staff let us finish our baked Alaska dessert.

For one the drinks were inconsistent. Ordered the old fashion and the 1st one tasted great and the second was horrible. Our appetizers took 30 min to come out. Waiter was slow. Food was very bland and the salmon was overcooked. Nothing like the first time we went.

Good service and be sure to get the smoked salmon. Yummy.

Our Server was absolutely phenomenal. Service was amazing and he was very personable.

The overall taste of the food was very bland and it was cold. The waiters kept passing our table and ignoring our requests. Although ambiance of the restaurant was great the food and the service did not match.

We waited for over 15 minutes before the waiter came to see us. Then we had to ask for bread. Drinks took some time as well as the food. And he only came to check up on us one time after we received our food. Felt like he was more attentive to others than us. We observed other waiters coming around occasionally to check on their tables as they should. Even a table by us who came in after us received their food before us, mainly because they didn’t wait long for a waiter to even come up to the table.

Restaurant did not honor reservation, stated that given that it was New Year’s Eve that we would have to sit by the bar. Hostess (Ashley) was extremely rude and accused us of being late when we weren’t. Salad came after the meal (despite request for it to come out prior). I understand that mistakes happen, but the restaurant seemed apathetic to rectifying their mistakes.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I had a great time. The food was delicious and the ambiance was great, also the drinks were perfect, and I loved my birthday dessert. The waiter was great and we will be returning.
