   The service was very erratic and choppy. We arrived at our reservation time and there were no tables available yet as some diners were taking longer than anticipated and had not yet vacated. We pulled up at the bar to wait , have a drink, and talk with the locals. The staff was attentive and nice but right after our drinks arrived our table was ready ( a six top) for two people. We took our drinks and sat down thinking that our bar tab would follow us. Not so much. The bar tender arrived quite a bit later to hunt us down and rudely explained that some how the bar was separate from the dining, no biggie, but it took us a bit by surprise. Our waiter was distracted and I think , was pretty new. He struggled with our order. We sat for awhile trying to place the order initially and then he forgot the soup . We reminded him that we were still waiting for our soup only to have him return with a single soup. Again we reminded him that is was “soups” as in plural. So off he goes to find my wife’s soup. The food was tasty and very reasonably priced but the whole service thing was off putting. While we were waiting for our Lyft ride inside since it was raining, we overheard a very disgruntled couple chatting with the poor hostess about their bad service experience where they were ignored for quite awhile yet their server was able to find the time to sit down at another table with a large group whom she obviously knew . The patron set his timer and it ran for almost 20 minutes before their server finally got up to make some rounds. We overheard both him and the server, who was clearly unhappy, about no tip being added. We had heard good things so we were a bit disappointed that it was rough around the edges. Very clearly there was no manager on duty to keep things running along smoothly. The hostess seemed a bit overwhelmed by the whole table seating process. Also, just as we walked in at 7:00 PM on a Saturday night they were turning away walk-ins.

   We were celebrating a Graduation, Mother's Day and my dad's 85th birthday. The service was excellent and the food was great. The seafood was fantastic and steaks were cooked to perfection. We highly recommend Off the Hook and will go again when we are in the area.

   Went tonight for dinner. Staff was great but that’s all! First I called to make a reservation and they said they were completely booked until 830. I went on OpenTable and they had tons of openings. We got there and were seated. The coke didn’t taste like coke. I ordered the mussels. When they came out they were so dry and smelt rancid. I ate two and they did no taste right! I sent them back and the staff was very kind and did take that off the bill. My husband got chicken tacos and said they tasted like fish because they were fried in the same oil as the fish. My mom and I both got salads and they were drenched! Also good luck calling there after 6/7! The phone rang the whole time we were there. Very sad since I was so hopeful with the great reviews.

   First time eating here. I took my mom out for an early Mother's Day dinner and we enjoyed the food very much. The service was great and the food even better. Will go back again.

   Great experience. Our server was amazing, very polite, courteous and friendly. She made sure my family and I had a nice time, especially since I just graduated. She really catered to us.

   I was told upon arrival I could not be seated until all of my party (2) was present (my husband was parking). Once seated it took 10-15 minutes before we were acknowledged at all by a server(we were about to leave and should have). Crab dip was okay, pita bread was really good (light and airy). I got mahi tacos, taco was so soggy I ate the fillings only, garlic Fries were real good, Cole slaw was plain and hush puppies were okay. My husband asked for butter and never got it. The food was okay. A better server could have changed our whole experience, ours was horrible. We won’t be back.

    Overall, the experience was good. They did not have our reservation, but were able to seat us quickly. First, we ordered drinks. My wife asked for a Malbec, which they did not have, but Frank brought her two other wines to sample, and she chose a Merlot. I ordered the special: a Moscow Mule. Frank said that he may have over-poured, but all I tasted was Ginger-Beer. The appetizers and food came rather slowly, but I think it was due to the large party seated next to us. I would still give them another try.

    Waited 15 - 20 min after being sat b4 a server came to us for drinks. Food was eh.. I'm sure it can be better than what we experienced (based on reviews of others), but this was my first time here and that impression will prevent me from returning anytime soon. Maybe one day.

    Service was oustanding. Some of the food was great, although I would not recommend the Fettucine. Tasted like it was made straight from a box with nothing else, no taste at all. Daughter and son were very disappointed. However, I enjoyed my crab cakes, hubby enjoyed the 14oz ribeye and mom enjoyed the fried shrimp. Very small restaurant, bathroom area was not as clean as I expected. However, hubby and I said that we would return to try the tacos.

    Excellent food and great service! The Bronzino special is as good as it gets! And you can’t beat the desserts. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, just a really good time. Can’t wait to come back and eat again!!

    This is my second trip to OTH. The idea that an entire party must be present to be seated when it is only 3 of you, is ridiculous. I’m sure they have their reasons but I’m the type to order a drink and start the apps coming for the table. It doesn’t set the tone for a relaxing “finally I get to chill” vibe. While waiting in the foyer, I did get to watch 3 staff members doing nothing more than congregate at the hostess stand with a dirty floor in front of them. The cheap plastic container holding the silverware on said hostess stand doesn’t scream quality. Food was ok. Oysters Rockafellar were good. They “ran out” of Caesar salad. Service was knowledgeable, efficient and kind. When I asked if I could get blue cheese in my olives for dirty martini, they obliged with two for the first one and only one (sob) for the second…but for $7, can’t complain too much. Calamari was crisp but no notable flavor. My dish was the shrimp and grits. Delicious at first bite but every bite after tasted the same. Usually that shrimp and grits comes with levels of texture and flavor (even when I make it at home). First trip, there I was pleasantly surprised…this trip, not as much (comes down to what you order).

    Overall, the seafood player was good, but the crab cake was way too salty. The shrimp, scallops, oysters and fish were delicious. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I would highly recommend making reservations. We definitely enjoyed our visit and will be back in the future.

    The seafood platter on the menu came out on a plate. Disappointed with the red snapper; didn’t expect a small fried fish on a plate with the head still on. We didn’t have utensils until we asked for them. Too pricey for the type of food served. Kudos to our server, she was the best. She worked hard to serve and give great service to everyone there. It looked like she was by herself.

    Don't bother dining at this restaurant, it's basically an incredibly overpriced Applebees. When "Chophouse" is in a restaurant's name, one would think it's at least somewhat of a fine dining establishment, wrong. The $12 shrimp cocktail was insultingly undersized. The add-on grilled shrimp were small and barely pan seared, not grilled. The $34 dollar 14oz ribeye was an insult to my palate. Not only was it 1/2 the claimed 14oz, it presented and tasted like it was a slice of prime rib, not a prime ribeye like I expected. I had to search for the three bites of garlic mashed potatoes under my tough steak. This restaurant is a one and done for me.

    I'd heard so many good things, yet the food was very disapointing. She crab soup was tastless, crab cakes were all filler with hardly any crab meat, veggies were overcooked and the portions were tiny. I chose this place to impress my date, she was not impressed. Service was fine. Overall... Disappointed.

    Our waitress was apparently so pre-occupied (at another table) that another waitress checked on our table several times. Food was good although portion sizes were different (we both ordered the same entree).
