My boyfriend and I had a lovely dinner here tonight. It was both our first times here. I love Korean food but wasn’t ever able to go to a kbbq or hot pot until now. Our server was amazing and we were checked on almost every 10 or so minutes. He explained things in detail, showed us how to use the grill and hot pots, where to find the banchan and suce areas. I wish I would’ve remembered his name! He was extremely helpful and kind. He did say that he’s worked there for a year and a half and hasn’t eaten there so that should narrow it down lol. He needs a raise, like most service workers. Overall it was so fun and definitely entertaining cooking your own dinner. I love to cook so I was more than happy to cook it all! Just make sure if you don’t like to cook you bring someone who does! We were checked on by multiple staff during the hour we were there. It’s very low key on fridays at around 6-7, very quiet and chill. Can’t wait to take all the kids next time.

I have been to a couple other Korean barbecue and hot pot restaurants and they are all a little pricey, but I’m willing to pay that for good service and good food. The quality of the food at Oppa House was not good and the service was horrible. When you have to ask for silverware or refills of your drinks or where’s my waitress and you pay roughly $350 for six people the service level better step up a bit.
