Waiter , Nason, had a great personality. He had incredible knowledge of the menu, ingredients and wine. He was fun, energetic and had a great sense of humor. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Another phenomenal meal! Husband chose Osteria for Father's Day (of course!)
Extremely happy that on this holiday (restaurant very full of Dads and their families) service and food quality did not waiver! Even though the restaurant was quite full, the service was impeccable, attention to detail did not waiver, food was brought out quite timely and quality was spot on!
The best restaurant ever!
REAL Italian!!!!! Lovely ambiance.
We’d tried several times to get reservations here but always booked. Decided to try for our anniversary celebration. Very good food and extremely good service which included complimentary dessert.
Dinner was amazing. Service was too. Recommend this restaurant very highly.
Always great food and the service is amazing! The patio is beautiful and it was great weather to sit outside and enjoy a good meal.
Although this was our 2nd visit- there will not be a 3rd. I invited friends to join us, and chose Osteria- hoping for the best. A 9:15 reservation, we were seated at 9:45, the server took a very relaxed focus on serving us, which was odd from get go. A single glass of wine came in under poured- (very obvious to all) and I asked if this was typical- and a completed avoidance was the reaction- again, not good. We, (not the server) brought to the bar for adequate fill- which they did reluctantly. Food was served and we didn't see the serve for too long of time- again, by this time- not a good experience. A person hosting brought a desert- acknowledged and apologized for inconveniences- which as standard SOP.
Hope this helps- for improvement. We will not be back, nor can I recommend.
As always everyone and everything was great
Great appetizers. Great cocktails. Spinach salad was wonderful. Pizza crust was burnt. Obvious kitchen was distracted and let it happen. Not acceptable to be that inconsistent.
Plus, Open Table offered this as a 1,000 pt reservation but only awarded me 100.
Food & service were outstanding. We tasted a bunch of different menu items (we went twice in one week) and they really delivered in a big way. Impeccable service & their wine list was fabulous as well. Five stars all the way around. I want to thank chef for helping with my nut allergy & working around this. When in Roswell...a must. Me, I’ll be there again this week again.
We went for our Anniversary , we were greeted as we check-in with Happy Anniversary, when we were seated there was a Happy Anniversary card on the table signed by the restaurants staff. Our server greeted us and once again greeted us with Happy Anniversary and to top the night off they served us a dessert of our choice on the house. We would definitely recommend Osteria Mattone for any occasion .
Our waiter was friendly but very inexperienced, it made the meal awkward. Overall the food is great but not quite as extraordinary as our last visit.
We chose Osteria Mattone for our 20th anniversary. We had a table on the patio, a signature cocktail and a delicious meal!
Every meal here is very good to outstanding. Service is friendly and non-intrusive. We tried their Mattone Monday menu--3 course, $25. You choose from 5 "firsts" and 5 entrees (pizzas or pastas) and several desserts. The portions are regular size and thus a real value for the price.
Our waiter was wonderful! I thought the food would be outstanding, but was disappointed. The braised beef ravioli was good, but needed more sauce and the meet filling was bland. My husband's sea bass was over cooked.
Excellent service, and as before, great food.
We are always more than satisfied with the food and service.
Celebrated my husbands birthday and my mother inkaws just because celebration. She is fighting cancer. The staff was very knowledgeable, pleasant and courteous.
We had a very fun evening!
We love this Italian restaurant. Abigale is amazing ... as is Paul mgr and Meg ... the food is very flavorful and has a nice variety. Wine list has a good selection of Italian wines. The IPAs are good too. The prochuto with melon appetizer was a summer delight. We liked it so much we made it for ourselves for dinner the following day.
We love to reserve a table for a special occasion! Always marvelous food. Can’t wait to take our kids along .
Loved our time at OSM. Had brunch. The lobster crab omelette was fabulous. Had the wonderful sip, Ciao Bella. Delicious and refreshing. We started outside sipping in the breeze. It got hot so Michael moved us to a lovely table by the window. He was just awesome! Very personal, knowledgeable and professional. Yet he was so sweet and fun too. Love this place. Linda Lee Parker
To say we LOVE Osteria Mattone is an understatement. Adoration or Besotted might be better word choices to convey our sentiment towards this restaurant. We love our regular family dinners and brunches here. The Pernice brothers set the incredible tone of outstanding service and inviting atmosphere which permeates through every detail and member of the OM team and OM experience. Ryan, Dan, Paul, Meg, Laura, Michael, Kerry, Naison, and the staff go above and beyond, professional, so caring and attentive. It is like dining with extended family. The food is beyond delicious at both Brunch and Dinner. I dream daily of the Agnolotti and the scallops. The pear spinach salad is delicious to the last bite. as is the salmon, pizzas, roast pork shoulder, the Polpette, and the Arancini. Love the olive oil cake- light and so savory. The wine list is also outstanding. Beautiful decor and architecture, great music. Best Italian in town. Delizioso!
Always a great dinning experience! One of our favorite restaurants! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
We sat outside where the music was at just the right level, the atmosphere was great, the weather was lovely. The food, of course, was great.
I had such high hopes for this place and was REALLY craving some pasta... I sat at the bar and we ended up ordering dinner there instead of going to the table. I have never encountered a bar tender who was so annoyed at having to be there and so disinterested in ANY guest at the bar. Kind of stinks because it seems like a cool bar to go and sit at but he made it feel like it was a burden on him to have us there. The octopus salad was bland ~ the octopus itself was great! but the rest of it was boring and really not worth the money. We also had some pastas and an order of meatballs etc. Nothing was really that memorable. Maybe if we got something more hearty it would have been better? The management was extremely nice when we passed them on the way in and out, and the service staff was really sweet. I will say the parmesan cheese was pretty fantastic! Otherwise I was disappointed and hoping I can find another spot on the square for some good pasta.
We were promptly seated and the salads, appetizer and entrees were brought to the table in an appropriate amount of time. The server then asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. We responded, yes. Ten minutes later he came back with the menus. Ten minutes later he took our order and fifteen minutes later when he came to the table to tell us it would be coming soon. We asked that it be put in a to go box. Unfortunate end to a decent meal. We were not harmed for the minuscule bread pudding portion that we had ordered. I say say decent and not outstanding because the sea bass was disappointing. It was dry and overly seasoned. The broccoli I was very al dente. I have had much better. The best thing we had were the fried risotto balls. I would order them again even though they were a bet overpriced at $13.00.
Osteria Mattone is always perfect! Outstanding food, drinks and people.
The food, service and ambience at Osteria Mattone was awesome, as always. We love to celebrate birthdays at this restaurant. It never disappoints.
Great brunch menu great service and wine program. Will be going back for dinner ASAP
Wonderful all around: food, service, ambiance! Can’t wait to go back!
Dining at Osteria Mattone is always delightful. The staff is warm and friendly and very attentive. The food is constantly good. I recently ordered the sea scallops and was not disappointed. I've eaten at this restaurant several times and can definitely say it is one of the best in the Roswell area.
Absolutely fantastic experience! Our first time to Osteria Mattone and it was delightful! Excellent food, outstanding and attentive service and a very charming locale. Very highly recommended and we’ll certainly be back.
Celebrating a graduation
Wait staff was exceptional
Food just wasn’t their best... a disappointing dinner.
We arrived with our party of five, and were seated right away. The cocktails were delicious and the service was outstanding. Three of us had the sea bass, and it was excellent. I think our friend who ordered the lamb chops enjoyed them. I'm not sure how good the scallops we're, but there were no complaints. The ambiance was lovely and we really enjoyed our visit.
Girls night out...food was divine, service impeccable. We had a great time!
