Great dinner really delicious, cool setting and we had a really fun and excellent server " Turk" ! Would return in a second!
Unusual menu for dinner hour but was the preference of my dining companions. We made several selections and enjoyed sharing them as we really enjoyed our conversation and time together.

The food was good, but not great overall. We had several shared plates, and there was nothing that I ate that I would be anxious to return to get again. There was also some of the plates that did not taste bad, but I would never order them again. I was extremely disappointed based on all of the hype. The venue and view is great, but even the drinks were nothing special.
Service was very slow. We ordered the mix grill for 2, the chicken was good but the lamb was extremely fatty and we couldn't eat most of it. We did like our lebneh appetizer but that was the ony good thing about our visit.
The food was all outstanding, and the drinks were great too. Loved the beet hummus, pita, and the rice bowls. Turkish coffee ice cream was awesome too. We will be back!
Over Eden has potential to be a better restaurant. On Valentine’s Day evening, my boyfriend and I enjoyed delectable drinks from the bar, but the food we ordered was far from scrumptious. The crispy fish not only lacked crunch, but was unfortunately riddled with bones. Our server, Kim, was terrific in responding to our feedback. We were offered a 20% discount and were pleased to receive it. Additionally, the restaurant’s aesthetic and ambiance left something to be desired. The lighting was harsh and unforgiving, failing to provide the romantic atmosphere we had hoped for last night. Kim mentioned menu changes arriving in the next month and we hope these updates improve on the aforementioned issues.
Brussel sprouts were very good. Both Chicken and Lamb shawarma were average, and a bit pricey. Rooftop bar is great.
The Brussels sprouts in zhoug sauce were amazing but my chicken shawarma salad left a lot to be desired. My guests's lamb shawarma was good, though.
This would be a great roof top bar on a summer evening. Disappointed there was no Friday happy hour. Limited , pricy food selection. They could do so much more like Food from the Balkan region. It would fit with the brick shop theme.
Great food, but without the room opened up to the terrace, it's just way too loud.
Food was just ok. I liked the concept of the food healthy mediterranean, but i have had better. I had the falafel salad and faladel was good, but salad was way underdressed. Asked for additional tahini which helped, just needed a bit more flavor. Our server was very nice and friendly, but given how few tables were occupied (like 2) service was quite slow. Parking is valet only and was over priced ($10 for valet and it seemed unnecessary given the lot had 0 cars in it). Great decor and good ambiance overall. The hotel and restaurant was a ghost town, unfortunately. The place has potential and hope business picks up. With a few tweaks, could be a great venue, particular when the weather is nice and you can take advantage of the great view.
Over Eden is a bar that morphed in to a bar with food. When TRYP couldn't get their downstairs restaurant opened, they added limited food items to Over Eden. It's got a small kitchen with a standard 4-burner stove. So it's mostly snack and nibble food. That said, they're turning out some delicious food. We had Za'Atar chips, chicken shawarma was very tasty, as was the salad. The kicker was the pastrami short ribs. Just delicious. And enough to feed 4 or more. Be interested to see how they change up the menu now that they hired a new full-time executive chef.
We showed up for our 11am reservation and all of the stools were still on the tables throughout the entire restaurant. The menu is rather limited. Granted, the dips were good, but more options with some substance would have been nice.
Great and beautiful venue. I will definitely be back. That said, I made the terrible mistake of ordering the fish for two or had the terrible misfortune of getting a server that has no idea how to do her job. I’ve ordered a similar dish many times in my life from many different restaurants and it is NOT supposed to be just dropped off at the table as a whole fish. The server is supposed to carve it! For $70, it’s not up to me to figure out how to serve a whole fish and take out all of the bones. I’m with a date, I’ve had a few drinks, and I have no particular idea how to carve a fish.
Food was delicious and we had great servers. Loved the view! Only downgraded stars at all because it was a little overpriced.
The food, especially the appetizers, were top notch. I had read that the service had been uneven but we saw no evidence if that. Servers were friendly, timely and professional.
Only high tops available so be careful if you are looking for more comfort.
The space is noisy but manageable. If your looking for a quiet night out this might not be the place.
The view of downtown was great, even in the winter with the windows closed and patio frigid.
Good to go to with a group of friends. A fun place with some very good food.

So very, very loud. Did I mention that it was loud. You can hear the roar as you come up on the elevator. I am sure it is better in the summer when the doors are open to the outside.
We ordered olives, hummos and mixed grilled. It all came at the same time, instead of a first course and second course. The mixed grill was cold and sausages undercooked. I took a long time for our waiter to come back to our table so that we could complain. They did bring it back hot and cooked through. The sausages were yummy as was the hummos. The lamb was full of gristle. You would get gristle in almost every bite.
I asked for a cup of tea. By the time it came, I had almost forgotten I ordered it. Then I asked for sweetener. The tea was cold by the time they were able to locate some downstairs and bring it up.
I did really enjoy my cocktail.
Went here for a group dinner and it was a great experience! The service was excellent and the food was delicious!
The menu was limited and the food was merely Ok yet expensive.
They could not split checks for a table of 7 people. Our sever was lovely but he was not able to because of the computer system and management.
The staff were all nice. And again our server was great.
The restaurant itself had a lovely view and ambience but the lights were incredibly bright - we got there at 8:15 pm on a Friday. There was no reason for classroom lighting. Finally someone dimmed the lights a bit and we could actually see the view outside and our table clapped. Then someone turned them right back up. Why??
The space is nice with a great view. It was cold but I can see how it would be even better when the deck is open and windows are ajar. The food was very good. The dips especially, what they could use is a better recipe for the Pita. Otherwise very nice first experience and will return.
The space and service are both great. The menu size is too small, and the food is too taste specific.
We tried almost everything on the menu and loved it all! Meats were tender and succulent. Dips and veggies seasoned to perfection. Our server was lovely. The clouds did not cooperate with our view of sunset ( no fault of Over Eden of course - smile). I only wish there was more to the menu!
Spectacular views make this place destination worthy. The service was very good but the food is overpriced and not very good. The bar could be much better, warning they have no clue how to make a Tom Collins and the Saobuco was served unceremoniously in a water glass which l almost missed.
Please improve food and/or prices, preferably both. If u don’t you will loose local customers (and local recommendations), and TRYP will be relegated to “tourist trap” ala Times Square NYC, for example, peppered with so many bad restaurants that eventually fail for lack of business.
First let me qualify my review. We went for dinner which was a mistake this is not really a dinner restaurant / bar. The food was good and service was good, but drinks and food were way over priced for what you got. The environment was very loud considering there was not a lot of people. The location was nice with a great view of the city.
The restaurant was moderately crowded but the noise level was not conducive to conversation.The chairs or stools often were not suitable for comfort-either too low,too high or too hard.Service was pleasant,knowledgeable &caring &though the menu was not extensive the food was delicious &presented nicely.Parking is expensive.
The dips were the best I have ever had. View of the city from the roof bar was unparalleled! Staff super friendly. This hotel is pretty new and they are ramping up. Can not wait until the other restaurant opens. Food diverse and delicious!!!!
Lovely evening on the roof top! Especially loved the 3 dip combo - the yogurt was my fav and my husband loved the beet/eggplant. The cous cous was delicious as well. The thing we liked the most is that everything we ate was HEALTHY!
The only suggestion—Wish you had heaters - BRRRR. It got cold when the sun went down. And menu was very limited but everything was DEEEE-LISH so no complaints.
It was a Birthday celebration for a girlfriend who is a vegan and loves the outdoors and a picture perfect view of the city! The seasonal triple dips with pita are always a go to starter and we are never disappointed!
Lovely view, wonderful food, and kind service. Our birthday friend even got a special song from a brilliant man who works in the kitchen. Highly recommend!
Outstanding Mediterranean tapas. Very original and unique takes on classic dishes (hummus, baba ganoush, tabouleh, labneh, falafel, shawarma) with every dish (that we sampled) a winner. I wish the prices were a little more accessible, but with the view and the right amount of folks to share the cost, this place would be a winner at every turn.

Everything was great the food was awesome, great prices, drinks were so good as well. Also our server was on point, attentive but not rushing. They have so many vegan and vegetarian options and everything is fresh. Highly recommend.

I wish there was a MAYBE option between yes and no because it was certainly a beautiful evening with a stellar View and our server was excellent. But the tiny shot glass of beer that cost $7 was ridiculous! My husband who was with me saw it and said "well then bring me another", and the server said she could only bring one beer at a time. She admitted that she thought it was ridiculous as well, and hopefully the management will catch on or they will be losing a lot of clientele. Remember this is Pittsburgh and Lawrenceville which might try to act fancy but it needs to GET REAL!

Going here you are basically paying for the view. The cocktails were fine nothing mind blowing. There was a group of us so we got the prime rib for $95 they gave us a bunch of dips which were good and they claimed the prime rib was enough to serve 3 to 4 people it was not. I think I would come back here for a drink and the view but that is it. I do not think I would eat here again. Oh and the service was great.
