Paces & Vine's menu features approachable fare with simple presentation and careful preparation. Guests can count on signature dishes inspired by the neighborhood including dinner entrees like guiness braised brisket.
Unique lunch offerings feature lobster cobb salad, double stack burger and shrimp tacos. Our brunch menu features chilaquiles, briskets and grits and fried chicken sandwich.
The female bartender this evening was great (we sat at the bar) and she was very knowledgeable and helpful! Superb!
It was good!
Beautiful restaurant, great food, awesome service. Thanks.
Thank you so much!
Some of the best crab cakes I’ve ever eaten. The sea bass was also very good.
Our service was spot on fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is great. Cocktails are spot on. However, the food for the price is just not there.
Thanks for the feedback Hd1234. I appreciate the positive notes, and I'm so sorry you felt the food fell short. We pride ourselves on providing a value at our category of dining so I'm deeply sorry we did not execute your meal to the appropriate level. I'm going to send you a private note as well, and hopefully you can help me out with some more information so I can coach appropriately. Thanks! - Michael, GM
It was all great! Food and service just right!
Thank you Anne, we love hearing that! We work hard to deliver the whole package, and it's great to hear when we get it right. Cheers!
First time in awhile and it was great. Great food, great service and great drinks (Sangria).
Thanks for a great meal and for allowing us to go slow on date night. Well done!
Thanks for making it back in! Happy to hear provided you a great date night, and we really appreciate the positive comments! Thanks!
The food [brunch] was so, so. I ordered eggs Benedict, the potatoes were dry and room temp and there was the skimpiest portion of ham on the serving.
The bloody Mary was a cocktail glass portion for $13.
I wouldn't order it ever again.
We’ve been probably dozens of times by now and keep going back for the great service and neighborhood bistro feel.
I have been eating at Paces & Vine for years and have been generally satisfied, but my latest meal wasn't the best. I ordered the special which the waiter clearly said was an 8 oz. chop. What I got were slices of pork tenderloin arranged over a "smear" of mashed potatoes. The amount of mashed potatoes was inadequate and the beans tasted watery and stringy. I was very disappointed with the meal. When I ask for a wine recommendation I have noticed over the years that I am always pointed to the most expensive wine by the glass. I tipped 30% because I asked for a couple of wine tastes before making my selection. Service was acceptable, but would appreciate either more water refills, or leave a small pitcher on the table.
It was OK. Maybe I had high expectations. Service was great, food was just OK. Really loud.
Always amazing food and service. This is on our company's monthly rotation.
We had the braised brisket. It was good but is really roast beef and just not what I expected.
Enjoyed this first visit to Paces & Vine. Pleasantly surprised that Sunday offered half off bottles of wine. Would definitely come back as the meal was very nice.
Great food. Very, very, very slow service.
Met a client here for lunch. I ordered a salad and she had the 1/2 and 1/2, which consisted of soup, salad, and sandwich. My salad was great and my client's meal looked fantastic. It was a little louder than anticipated but the service was great and we were not rushed at all.
Very disappointed, last visit here was very good. To begin, the brunch menu was not much to speak of and the fried chicken sandwich was just boring. The “kitchen “ was backed up all day but the place was not packed but food service was sooooo slooow. The free dessert softened the dissatisfaction but we would rather good and tasty food.
I made a reservation for Father's Day to try a new place. They were busy, but it took almost an hour to get our food, which was nothing special. The fried chicken was dry (chicken & waffles), the salad was pretty much lettuce, and the salmon was under cooked and had no seasoning at all. The best part was the bread basket, and the waiter kindly brought a second one 30 minutes into the wait for food. The ambiance was nice and the outside seating looked pleasant. Then a family came in and let their kids watch videos on electronic devices with no headsets. All in all, it was a bit of a blessing to spend extra time with my family, but have no reason to go back.
Usually one of our favorites, Paces & Vine really disappointed us on Father's Day. Our reservations were for 12:30p. When we arrived at 12:25p, they were already backed up and a large crowd started to form at the hostess stand. It was Father's day and there were several families with children. We were very cramped in the waiting space and we could see several empty tables. Once we sat down, our server was very nice. However, we didn't receive our meal until over an hour after our reservation time. There were several tables (with young children) who were not being served and everyone was getting anxious. When I spoke to the manager on duty, her response was rather flippant ("I'll let the general manager know . . "). I'm saddened that their poor planning put a damper on what was intended to be a nice family meal. The food was also very average. Not worth the long wait at all.
It’s Father’s Day, so I understand that restaurants are very busy, however we had to wait 35 minutes for our meals to be delivered, as we watched other diners who entered after we did eat their meals.
The quiche and grits were tasteless which was surprising given that we had excellent meals here previously. The omelet and French toast were fine.
The waitperson was fine; none of this was her responsibility.
Best bet for high quality food, drinks and service in Vinings. They are clearly well run, most servers seem experienced/well trained, hostess always acknowledged that we were repeat customers and the waiters did the same (we used to go so often they presented me with a loyalty card which was a nice perk). The menu is a good balance of standards that always satisfy with the welcome surprise so that it doesn't get dull. The mussels with grilled bread are worth skipping lunch for (and breakfast the next morning for that matter since you'll still be full...) and I don't usually eat them outside of France. Their custom, seasonal cocktails are well crafted and consistently executed. We recently booked a table for Father's day brunch and my husband, who is half Mexican, thought the huevos rancheros was excellent, my BLT was also and the portions were very generous. I'm always a little leery of special occasion brunches and they were very busy but our waiter communicated with us and still handled the "big little" things like bringing salt and condiments to the table quickly.
Service from Juan was the best and dinner was delicious!
We also have found Paces & Vine on the money and our last visit was no exception. The brisket and crab cakes were a hit. Service was great and very impressive for our of town guests.
Service was slow but waitress was very nice.
Wow, what a a great find in the Vinings area. Great food, atmosphere, and service. I had the sea bass which had a wonderful sauce to it. The evening was topped off with an incredible cheesecake with peaches on top.
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta.
Both of me servers this past week were excellent.
Food was good, but the waitstaff was great.
Was our first visit was awesome. Rachel answered our questions about what to try food and wine wise and her suggestions lead to a total awesome experience.
Food was great! Our server was pretty slow though.
Outstanding food - gourmet American. Delicious. We will all be definitely be back.
I come here about once a month for a business lunch and it never disappoints. The food and service are always top notch. I have not had anything off of the lunch menu that isn’t excellent My hamburger yesterday was beautiful and delicious. The chicken quesadilla is my favorite.
Service was excellent! Food was very good. The mussels were soft and juicy and loved the tomato broth.
Fun and delicious birthday dinner.
Disappointed in the truffle fries
Everyone i our party of five loved their meals! The wine pours were excellent also. Thank you!
Great food and sever was great-but they were under staffed
My first experience here, and I loved it! Will definitely go back.
Incredible experience, as always. We will be back!!!
Everything was perfect!
The menu was full of delicious choices. Also, when we went all bottles of wine were 50% off (this was on a Sunday and I am not sure how often they do this, but very nice). The service was great and our server, Omar, was very knowledgeable and nice. Their dessert was amazing! I highly recommend the bread pudding.
