Panda Gourmet is a unique Washington D.C. establishment serving Chinese specialties from the Sichuan and Shaanxi regions. Located inside of a modest hotel, the restaurant often surprises patrons with its top-quality, authentic offerings that attract food lovers and Chinese expats from all over the city. Panda Gourmet employs three full-time chefs, including two who specialize in the spicy cuisine from Sichuan, and the third who is an expert in Shaanxi�s famous breads and hand-pulled noodles. One of the most popular menu items is the dan dan noodles, which come topped with scallions, crumbled pork and a spicy Sichuan sauce. Regulars also rave about the mapo tofu, wonton soup and chicken with hot and spicy garlic sauce. Panda Gourmet is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. It is a family friendly and affordable place to try delicious Chinese dishes well-deserving of the name �gourmet.�
